List in order. Kevin Durant : 27 points, and 8 rebounds per game while leading his team to the second best record in the league. And he has come out on against top players like Kobe and Lebron. Its his year. LeBron James : 27 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists per game. James stats and the third best record really says it all. But i think he will be a runner up as I don't think they are going to give it to him for the third time, and Durant has out played him head to head. Tony Parker : 20 points, 8 assists per game. His stats don't come out and slap anyone but he has been running the show down in San Antonio basically all year especially with Duncan being limited by Pop and Manu basically being hurt all year. Team record means alot when it comes to winning MVP and he has the Spurs in fourth place in the league. Not to mention he is the only allstar on the team, while the other top 4 of the five teams have multiple allstars. Kobe Bryant : 28 points 5 rebounds and 5 assists per game. Kobe is having once again a great year statically but imo he is doing it in the manner of quantity rather of quality as he is shooting a poor 42% (Parker 47%, Durant 50%, LeBron 53%). But even with the poor shooting he has the Lakers top 5 in the league which says alot. Kevin Love : 26.5 points 14 rebounds per game. If the MVP award was handed out simply on statistical basis he would be sky high on this list but unfortunately it isn't as team record has alot to do with it. Regardless he deserves some love as he is playing the most minutes per game and is 4th on the list ppg and 2en on the rpg.
