Trade Artest for an athletic wing player who can shot the three and defend. If that doesn't happen I certainly wouldn't mind Barnes starting over him. At this point the Lakers really need someone who can knock down shots. Barnes is also a underrated defender so this change wouldn't hurt us so much defensively. However, I just don't see Artest contributing much off the bench.

Where has this defense been for Arizona all year?

Well I'm not like some of you Laker fans on this site, I take this lose to heart. Yeah sure we got killed, and have done the killing on Christmas the last couple seasons, and we've won the NBA Championship regardless. I know for a fact that Phil and Kobe wil be ready come playoff time, but there are certainly alot of things to be concerned about. The Heat exposed our pick and roll defense today. LeBron and Wade got to the rack at will, and if that didnt happen they were willing passers which resulted in open looks for other guys. The Lakers defense was running around with our heads chopped the entire game. We literally couldn't figure it out the entire game. It's nice to see that Pau is back to being a [expletive]. He didn't finish around the rim, he rarely contest any damn shot, and on top of that he was getting blown by by guys like Juwan Howard. Just a complete lack of effort and willingness to be physical. As I said earlier Bynum was two times that player he was tonight. I don't know if it's only me, but Ron Artest's play this season has been infuriating. What I would give for an guy like Batum......The lack of an athletic wing player is really hurting us. Ron got to the rim a couple times but his fat [expletive] simply just couldn't dunk it, and on top he cant shot a open shot to save his life. This game was simply painful to watch. Laker fans can say that this game doesn't mean [expletive], but I can bet you that this win is going to do wonders from Miami's morale. At this point the Lakers are the third best team in the West let alone the league.

Andrew Bynum has been two times the defender Pau has been tonight. And that's saying alot for a guy who is barely moving out there.

About time the Lakers ditched the triangle...

We are a [expletive]ing mess on defense. This is frustrating to watch.

Honestly we're really lucky to be only down single digits. Our defesive rotations suck, Miami is just missing their open shots. Ball movement and player movement is way better for Miami, and that's why there are getting better looks. Lakers have no flow, Kobe posts and 4 other guys stare at him and expect him to make something happen. No one is helping Kobe out, he's finding the open guy but those guys just aren't hitting their shots. He can only do that for so long, at this point we need him to look to score more.

Considering how [expletive]ty we played that quarter, I'm more than happy to be only down 6.

Kobe is doing an excellent job setting up his teammates, they just need to knock down the open looks. We also need to make some putbacks, alot of easy misses around the basket.

Magic are making some lowsy passes into the post, I think that's the third pass that has been intercepted now.

It's unbelievable how many fouls the Celts are getting away with.

Celts are doing a great job defending Dwight, they aren't let him get too deep in the post. He needs to get something going though. This game has slowed down to a hault with all these fouls.

Well the Celtics were successful in drawing two cheap [expletive] fouls on Dwight.

What a sloppy 4th quarter from the Bulls. They've missed atleast three fastbreak layups this quarter, have a bunch of unforced turnovers, and I personally don't like Kurt Thomas in the lineup down the stretch. The Knicks are leaving him wide open and he's simply not hitting [expletive], get Taj GIbson back in the game!
