  1. All these close games are irritating me, we could really use a blowout victory.
  2. ^Very slim chance. I'm just annoyed by the fact that he's absolutely lost in the triangle and that he doesn't make the most of his opportunities. No guy on the team gets more open looks than Ron Artest.
  3. Rivers is a big time ballhog from what I've seen, I don't remember him passing the ball up once in the 5-6 minutes I watched the McDonald's All American game. With that said he'll be a stud for Duke next year, that team is going to be absolutely loaded.
  4. Kobe was out dualed yesterday, no doubt about it. But this question is just outrageous.
  5. How about you put Artest in a Blazer jersey, and Batum in a Laker jersey.
  6. Am I the only one who finds Ron Artests play absolutely disgusting this season? His defense has been on and off (like everyone else on the team), and offensively he's a liability. Man what I would give for a guy like Batum.
  7. This game seriously has a preseason feel to it, both teams are playing super sloppy. Kobe is going to have to carry us to a win.
  8. I have no idea what the Lakers are doing in the second quarter.
  9. Pretty interesting poll on ESPN. I have a feeling this might generate some good discussion here. I'll post up my opinion later.
  10. http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/blog/ball_dont_lie/post/Kevin-Garnett-tells-George-Karl-he-loves-cancer-?urn=nba-293575 Buy or sell?
  11. ^Hopefully the 4 hours in the library paid off. My final this morning could go either way lol.
  12. Fish is simply amazing lol. Embarrassing win but a win none the less.
  13. I would be scared if I was the Titans, you know Peyton Manning is going to come out sharp in this one. Colts win with ease. If teams have learned anything the last two games, it's that you stop Chris Johnson and that whole offense struggles.
  14. 15. It would be nice to get him some reps before our Christmas Day matchup against the Heat, but most importantly the Jan. 30 matchup against Boston.
  16. LOL at Amare being a MVP favorite, Derrick Rose would beat him out. Not only do the Bulls have a better record but he has basically carried a Bulls team with far less talent.
  17. Thanks for all the help guys, time to hammer this presentation.
  18. ^Is that Steven Jackson? If so, you start him without a doubt.
  19. Last night vs. Wizards 8-8 20pts 3-3ft's 17assists and only 2 to's Nash became the first player in NBA history to twice record 17 assists without missing a shot since the NBA-ABA merger in 1976-77. Only three other players have done this once; Magic Johnson, John Stockton and Mark Jackson. Nash also pulled the trick April 3, 2007, when he hit four shots and dished 17 dimes in Memphis, and before that it hadn’t been done since Stockton in 1994. In addition Nash became the second player in the shot clock era (since 1954-55) to post a 20 points and 10 assists game without missing a field goal or free throw, that hasn’t been done since 1985 when Lester Conner did it. Pretty impressive stuff.
  20. ^Well I don't have the time to read a book in the next two days, but I appreciate the suggestion. I'll look into that book whenever I get some free time on my hands. And I'll definitly throw Buss into the discussion. Thanks for the help Kyle.
  21. I'm contemplating if the Mikan Lakers are worth talking about, I mean they were the Minneapolis Lakers at that time. I might actually just start from when the team moved to LA, atleast that way I can skip atleast 10-12 years. Also, does anyone know where I can find information on how much LA benifited economically from their 2010 championship? It would be nice to have some stats. Btw sorry if I'm being super lazy.
  22. So far I'm thinking I should talk about the Minneapolis Lakers and how the Los Angeles Lakers came to being. Also I'll probably talk about the Showtime Lakers, Kobe-Shaq era, and probably the most recent championships. Am I missing anything else of importance?
