One of Michael Jordan's defining characteristics during his heyday as a corporate pitchman was his ability to preserve his polished image by never saying anything remotely controversial. Central Florida guard Marcus Jordan, however, doesn't seem to have inherited that trait from his father. As Kobe Bryant struggled through a nightmarish first half in Thursday night's decisive game of the NBA Finals, Marcus decided it was the ideal time to weigh in on the frequent comparisons between his father and the Lakers star. Here's what Michael's youngest son Tweeted late in the second quarter: http://a323.yahoofs.com/ymg/ept_sports_ncaab_experts__16/ept_sports_ncaab_experts-777513601-1276878841.jpg?ym5PTUDDGRRO7P0o http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/basketball/blog/the_dagger/post/Central-Florida-s-Marcus-Jordan-Kobe-s-still-no?urn=ncaab,249378

LOL what is this, I'm tired of Kobe copying EVERYTHING Jordan does V2, this is going to get locked up real soon. I can't believe some of you haters, even after he wins a championship you guys can't help but criticize the man.

Artest for Ariza swap = successful
The Regime replied to kingfish's topic in Los Angeles Lakers Team Forum
Agreed with everything Brandon said. The thing with Artest is he can have explosive offensive games, but they are extremely rare. You have to admire his energy and hustle though, he doesn't take any plays off and continues to work on other aspects on the game even when he's having off shooting games. Also I have to say he is a true team player, not once during his press conference did he take personal credit for anything. -
LMAO @ Michael Wilbon he said he wouldn't put Kobe in his top 10.

I'll try to get to these by tomorrow night. Till then, keep em coming.

Actually no, tonights game was all about defense so Sheed presence offensively actually gave them a boost. -
LMAO, get over it Sheed.

2010 NBA CHAMPS! First off I wanna say that was arguably the best display of defensive basketball (for both teams) that I have ever seen in a playoff game. Neither team let up for the full 48 minutes, and that's how it should have been. Props to Celts for fighting and actually winning the the first three quarters, but we were resiliant and finished stong. Kobe was garbage offensively, and our offensive woes in the first half had a lot to do with his shot selection and his overaggressive dribbling. The Celts did a good job collapsing their defense on whatever side he went, and he was constantly double and triple teamed on every touch. Passive and trusting Kobe in the third finally got us over the hump and the offense starting flowing. Shooting aside though, Kobe played one hell of a game. He not only crashed the rebounds hard (15 rebounds) but his defense all game was spectacular. He deserves the Finals MVP. Pau's play in the fourth quarter was phenomenal, his timely baskets starting from about the five minute mark in the fourth allowed us to get a comfortable lead and never look back. I questioned his defense a little though, I still don't understand why he fronted KG a couple times which resulted in easy baskets. Call him soft of whatever you want, but the dude knows how to get the job done. I can't say enough about Artest, [expletive] all the haters who thought that we were better off with Ariza. Ariza is great in his own right, but no way would be able to lockdown players like Durant and Pierce. If MVP would have come down to tonights game, Ron would win it hands down. If it hadn't been for Ron's scoring in the second quarter the Celts would have blown us out. He was hungry and it showed. Ron didn't shot well this entire postseason, but he didn't quit, and I admire his will. QUEENSBRIDGE!!! Fish once again proved why he's the starting pg for this team. He plays like crap all season but shows up big in the postseason lol, I love him. That three down the stretch with Rondo right in his face was super clutch. I definitely wouldn't mind Fisher back next season, maybe not as a starter though, we'll see. Last but not least how about Lamar! Dude didn't fill up the stat sheet but 6 points in third quarter sparked the run which let us get back into the game. I'll admit I've been harsh on him all season, but when things didn't looking very promising he did his part to get us going. Hopefully we get Phil back next season, I know he wouldn't want to leave right after we win a championship. With that said, next up three-peat!!! -
I hope no one gets banned tonight, suspensions are pretty much a guarantee lol.

Official: Perkins out for Game 7
The Regime replied to Real Deal's topic in Boston Celtics Team Forum
I hate to see the series end this way, but we'll take the win anyway we can get it. -

Perkins done for the series it pretty much icing on the cake, as cocky as that sounds. Sheed has a really tough time staying out foul trouble (especially when guarding Pau), and his shooting woes continue, so I can't really see him making much of an impact. Our frontcourt will have a huge advantage coming into game 7, and I expect them to exploit them early and often. I'm predicting another double digit win. -
Perkins likely out for Game 7
The Regime replied to magicbalala245's topic in Boston Celtics Team Forum
If this is true, then we'll have a huge advantage in game 7. The Celts love to push the ball off misses but with Perkins out they'll have troubles rebounding. Plus this will leave the Celts thin at center, Glen Davis is best suited off the bench, Rasheed is prone to picking up quick fouls, and Sheldon Williams is trash (3 rebounds, 0 points, 2 turnovers, 15 minutes of pt). -
Is it?

We're getting a little lazy on defense, alot of uncontested jumpshots.
