Maynor and Green passed it up before Durant heaved up the desperation three. Green def had a good look, he should have shot it. -

Steph Curry is making a strong case for ROY, this race is getting really tight. -

Smart man. -
Yeah probably so. Makes you wonder if the Steelers are maybe targeting someone in this draft.
-
I dont understand that move from the Steelers perspective, I'm guessing it's in response to all his off the field issues. Mike Wallace is a solid WR, but I think he's best suited as a slot wr. From SuperBowl MVP to the Jets for a 5th rounder, wow.

Blazers. I like the individual peices, and all they need is stability at center whether its Oden, Camby, or someone else. Brandon Roy can score, defend, and his unselfishness makes him a fun player to play with. Aldridge is a solid compliment to Roy, he can spread the floor with his shooting and is a decent post player; he needs to work on his defense but with time and experience around Camby I think he can mold into a top 5 pf. His length and offense sometimes reminds me of KG. Batum is a guy that a lot of people dont know about, but he is a really underrated defender. This season alone you could make a case for him making first team all defense. He's a decent spot up shooter, have him work on that part of his game this offseason and you have yourself a solid player. The center position has slowed the Blazers the last few seasons, but I think with a healthy center they are a possible top 3 team in the west. The bench for the Blazers is solid granted they probably all wont be together for the next 5 seasons. Rudy when healthy is a good three point shooter and energy guy, Bayless can score, Webster can stretch the floor, and Pryz gives them toughness. It's a nice mixture of offense and defense.

Agreed, remove that first pic lol. -
I realize that without LeBron the Cavs dont have alot of scoring options outside Mo and Jamison, but man does Mo turn selfish in LeBron's absence. He didnt shoot as much today, but the last few games he has been letting them rip. Cleveland looks as ready as any team in the NBA for the playoffs. No LeBron, yet the Cavs have remained competitive. I finally got a glimpse of Moon, he'll be really solid off the bench. I wish had guys like Moon and Delonte, they bring instant energy and scoring. The Cavs are as deep as any team in the entire league.

Haha I just posted something similar in the Lakers/Blazers gameday thread. I haven't really been paying alot of focus on the way he is releasing the ball, but what I did notice from todays game was that he didn't get a lot of lift on some of his shots. That sore knee is having an impact on his shot. I've played with a swollen knee in the past, and let me tell you it definitly messes with your shot. If I'm Kobe, rest for the last two games. I dont care if Orlando beats us out, we need you healthy for the playoffs and right now you are no where close to the Kobe we had last season.

Another tough loss, but this one hurts considering the circumstances. Brandon Roy pretty much was a ghost in the first half and he didn't play at all in the second half, yet we lost, embarrassing to say the least. Kobe's cluthness once again got us back into the game, but missing two free throws near the end of the game (both of which were short) that's really suprising. His shooting percentages this season (mostly the second half) have been ridiculous, definitly not Kobesque. His play this month has been mediocre and it clearly points out that something is wrong with him, and that he should consider resting for the remainder of the regular season. vs. Portland 8-23 20 pts vs. San Antonio 8-24 22 pts vs. Utah 5-23 25 pts Today it just seemed like he didnt have the legs on a lot of his shots. The last two free throws in particular were short and as soon as he released the ball I could tell that they were coming off the front iron. I wonder if that sore knee had anything to do with. Probably did. As for the other guys, everyone outside Lamar and Pau were garbage. The more I watch us play down the stretch, the more I've come to realize that we have some of the most selfish guards in the league. Sasha/Farmar/Shannon are all out to get their own, and it's really starting to piss me off. I think it was in the third quarter where Phil decided to play all three of them at the same time, and that was exactly when the Blazers made a small push. Wtf was Phil thinking? We need a complete overhaul on our bench next season. Fish is complete trash, and that foul at the end of the game is just one of the many reasons why I think he needs to retire. As dumb as Webster was for pulling up for a shot so early, Fish was a bigger dumbass for reaching in and fouling him. I still dont know what type of shot Webster was looking for, a runner from the three point line? Fish please just call it quits after this season, every Laker fan is hoping for it. And lastly I'm still trying to figure out the last play that Phil drew up. Kobe set a down pick to open up Pau for a three? Someone please explain that to me because that is all I saw.

RD2: (7)YugoRocketsFan vs. (2)s.t.a.t.
The Regime replied to Real Deal's topic in Off-Topic Discussion Forum
Really close. Yugo had a really nice intro but the rhyme wasnt as strong near the end. Stat did a good job targeting Yugo on a personal level which I thought was pretty cool and it's something we havent seen a lot of to this point. Stat-2 Yugo-1 -

What is a weeks rest going to heal? The pinky? The dislocated right finger? The index finger? One week isn't healing any of that. We are talking about conditioned athletes here, no way Kobe can be fatigued. Unless there is a undisclosed injury that I dont know about Kobe should be on the floor right now. We still have something to play for, beat out Orlando and then rest if need be. As for this game, what a bore! Sasha can have fun padding his stats, its like a varsity hs team scrimmaging a jv team.
