What a crazy [expletive] finish, that's why they say dont stop until you hear the buzzer. The Magic need to learn to box out lol. Really fun fourth quarter though, Josh Smith and Dwight Howard were going back and fourth with blocks.

Looks like Artest saw this topic.

I didnt watch the first half, but from what I heard George Hill pretty much kept them going. Zero baskets in the second half for him however, that speaks volumes about our defense. I've said it all season long, the Spurs are done, their era is over. The Richard Jefferson experiment was a major failure. Manu isnt a #1 option on offense, but when he is forced to carry the load like he had to tonight the Spurs can't win games period. Alot of positives from us in the second half, particularly on the defensive end. 1. Ron Artest had one of his best defensive games this season imo. He suffocated whoever touched the ball, he stole passes left and right and never game up on any play. Manu caught on fire early in the third quarter, but Ron Artest stepped up his intensity and forced him to make poor passes and stole the ball away from him a couple times. He was the catalyst of our comeback, and easily the player of the game. 2. Tim Duncan only took 11 shots, but I have to credit Pau for fighing on every single possession, he made every attempt for Duncan tough. Also it was nice to see Pau get a couple blocks on Duncan while he was locked on one on one. Key to beating the Spurs is shutting down Duncan and that's exactly what we did. 3. Lamar Odom is a beast. His hustle goes unnoticed alot of times. He tracked down quite a few long rebounds and I loved his aggresiveness on offense. 4. Kobe was quiet the whole game, but he did a great job facilitating and finding open guys. And when we needed him most he came up big in the fourth and closed the game out. Can you guys believe Kobe has gone two full games without taking a free throw, thats ridiculous. I'm not to worried though, he can still take the ball to the rack as well as anyone. Lol at the celebrations at the end of the game. It's not the playoffs just yet but I like our attitude. If only we played like this every game. 7 game win streak, let's keep this going heading into the postseason.

Shooting percentages last 5 minutes
The Regime replied to The Regime's topic in General NBA Discussion
True, but it just seems like Kobe makes way more than 38% of his shots. He seems so much more comfortable in the last few minutes of a game. -
http://www.miamiherald.com/2010/03/23/1544092/sparano-confident-dolphins-will.html#ixzz0j68zTdbN Kobe shooting only 38%, that's really surprising. Closing games out, that's his thing and he's really good at it. I was thinking somewhere from 45-50% for him.

Gallinari volunteered to guard Melo, Melo went off, yet the Nuggets lost, wtf. But as Real said JR's garbage play was a big reason they lost.

Containing Timmy is going to be a hard task for Pau. We should be victorious if we keep him in check.

[Completed] NBA's greatest shooting guard?
The Regime replied to Real Deal's topic in General NBA Discussion
Yup, I feel the same way. The comparison is just to close to call. Championships separates these two, and if Kobe can win a couple more I think he'll take over as the greatest shooting guard of all-time. For now I'll go with Michael Jordan, but my vote will probably change by the end of this season. -
[Completed] NBA's greatest small forward?
The Regime replied to Real Deal's topic in General NBA Discussion
LeBron isn't the greatest sf of all time just yet, he doesn't even have any rings lol. Larry Bird gets my vote, LeBron averages a near triple double but so did Bird at 24.3 points, 10 rebounds, 6.3 assists, 1.7 steals, and 0.8 blocks. LeBron is shooting 50.4% from the field, 35% from deep, and 66.7% from the free throw line for his career. Compare this to Bird who shot a fantastic 49.6% from the field, 37.6% from the three-point line, and 88.6% from the free-throw line. Bird pretty much has LeBrons number as far as shooting percentages go. As as I said earlier, championship rings play a big factor in determining the g.o.a.t imo. LeBron will probably contend for a few championships before it's all said and done, but for the time being LeBron has 0 championships to Birds 3. -
