JJ Reddick has really progressed as a player, he doesnt settle anymore like he did the first couple seasons but what impresses me the most about him game now is his defense, he has really commited himself this season. With that said, I'd still take Shannon Brown, it's a little homer but I like him more defensively and when his jumpshot is dropping he's pretty deadly.

That's the only reason I like him.

Jameer Nelson blows, he single handedly blew that game for the Magic in the fourth quarter.

I could care less about Bynum pouting about coming off the bench, this should teach him a lesson and hopefully he can learn and grow from it. As of right now, Bynum surely gives us a physical presence on defense but on offense he is a ballhog. If we start Odom atleast we'll get a unselfish player in our lineup whose versatily cause alot of matchup problems for other teams. As for Fisher, I could care less who starts in his place. They cant be worse.

Lakers are officially 2-0 without Kobe, and everyone seems to be playing with alot more comfort. Pau and Odom in particular have become more aggresive and they have embraced their temporary roles as assertive playmakers. It's obvious that the scoring is there for us, and he doesnt need to come out fire away like he has in the past. We have the talent to make a run in the second half of the season, and in order to do that we need Kobe shooting no more than 18-22 shots. Obviously in games that the team is struggling his shot attempts will probably eclipse the 20 shot mark, but in general I would much rather have him stay in that range. Pau has shown that he can hold it down, so why not work the ball through him? This should help Kobe conserve his energy for the long run. I'm looking at anywhere from 13-17 shot attempts from Pau. Also this is considering that we start Lamar over Bynum. With Odom in our lineup we give Pau more freedom in the post.I have a feeling that Phil might consider that change and experiment in the second half of the season. Bynum is a blackhole, he needs to come off the bench. He not only makes our offense stagnant at times but he eats up a lot of space for Pau to be effective.

Yeah I was just taking about that stat, that's crazy. Hard to imagine a player have such a huge dropoff, hopefully for the Spurs he is just trying to adjust to the system still. The Spurs will only get as far as Jefferson plays, these type of performances wont get them anywhere, maybe a first round exit.

Pau filling up the stat sheet, holy [expletive]. 21pts, 18reb, 8ast, 5 blocks. Also that stat they showed for Jefferson is ridiculous. What was it? Jefferson had 17 games where he scored under 10 pts from 2006-09, but this season he has 16. Talk about a huge dropoff.

I gotta give props to Pau, we've been calling him soft but he came to play in the second half. 19pts, 19reb, 5 blocks. Lakers frontcourt killed the Spurs, Odom needs to start, Bynum needs to go to the bench!

Five point lead at the end of three. We're 21-0 at home when we lead at the end of the 3rd quarter, hopefully that steak doesnt end tonight.

Lamar is playing possesed tonight, if only we could get this out of him every night.

9-3 run to end the half. I'm pretty satisfied with where we stand, we need to keep on running on them they cant keep up with our pace.

Not a bad first quarter considering the circumstances. We need to play better defense especially in the paint. Spurs are having a tough time matching up with Lamar, we should run our offense through him. So far whenever he has touched the ball, we've been successful.
