  1. Eh, I would much rather keep it the way it is. I think implementing the 6 pt rule would result in a lot of ties for the NFL.
  2. ^Yeah a center would be nice, but Spencer Hawes has really come along this season so it doesnt really make sense for them to get one. I would consider trading for a pf, before trading for a center. I dont know how much point Tyreke has been playing this season but depending on that they could probably pursue a pg, and have Udrih come off the bench. I think he would make a good sixth man.
  3. AFC wins. Yes it was a bad move to move the Pro Bowl a week before the SuperBowl. I'm sure the Pro Bowl will probably get more viewers, but they are going to be missing a total of 12 guys from the Colts and Saints (6 each), a couple of which who probably would be starting. Colts: * Dallas Clark, tight end * Dwight Freeney, defensive end * Peyton Manning, quarterback * Robert Mathis, defensive end * Jeff Saturday, center * Reggie Wayne, wide receiver Saints: * Drew Brees, quarterback * Jahri Evans, guard * Jonathan Goodwin, center * Darren Sharper, free safety * Jonathan Stinchcomb, tackle * Jonathan Vilma, inside/middle linebacker
  4. I'm pulling for the Saints, and if they win it's going to be on Drew Brees' shoulder. High scoring game, I predict a Saints vicotory 31-28. Maybe another Hartley gamewinner.
  5. We all know what he did this season at the age of 40 throwing for 4202 passing yards, 33 TDs and a career-low seven INTs, but at the end of the day the Vikes lost in one of the biggest games of his career, and much of that is because of Favre who threw an interception (one of two) while the Vikes were in fieldgoal range. So the question is, what is his legacy? Are we going to remember Favre for all his accomplishments, or will we remember him as a guy who choked in big games? If Favre was to retire today, his last plays with the Packers, Jets, and Vikes would be interceptions. Personally for me, Favre will mostly be known for his indecisiveness and poor decision making, and his career numbers would support my arguement. Just the fact that he didnt retire when he had the chance irritates me. If he had retired as a Packer then I would have probably respected him alot more, but his choice to come back and play a couple more seasons tarnished his image imo.
  6. Just announce your retirement tonight Favre.
  7. haha I've been hoping for that, quite a legacy to leave behind
  8. holy [expletive] the Saints caught a break there just punt the ball so Favre can throw a pick six to end the game
  9. Brett Favre's legacy is just meant to end this way.
  10. I knew that int was coming, I was hoping he would have returned it for a td. Oh well ot, this game couldnt have gotten any better.
  11. Tell me about it, it has been a pain to watch him struggle. I didnt expect much from him offensively, his role was pretty simple just come in and knock down open looks when given the oppertunity (and he hasnt done that on a consistent basis). However, I did expect him to come out and be a defensive enforcer every night. Pairing him up with Kobe seemed liked the ultimate defensive duo, and I honestly thought his presence would have a positive effect on the rest of our defense, but there has been no sign of that yet. Artest hasn't been the same player that he was with the Rockets, idk whether it's the additional weight he added this offseason or just not being comfortable in our system. But he is definitly one of the reasons for our "poor" play this season. And I still dont know whether Phil Jackson has given Ron Artest full responsibilty of guarding the opposing teams best player, I understand that Laker fans want Kobe guarding players like LeBron or Melo near the end of games but at some point we are going to have to trust Artest.
  12. No I actually heard the Saints were planning on trading him this offseason, he's still under contract for next season I believe.
  13. another fumble, I cant remember the last time I saw a game with so many fumbles from one team two redzone turnovers for the Vikes, ouch
  14. ....and the Saints plan on trading Bush, I dont think that is going to happen
  15. About time they recovered a fumble, the Vikes are doing a really poor job holding on to the ball. lol everyone dives at the ball and misses but the fat [expletive] picks it up without even bending
  16. Double whammy, keep blitzing Favre make this game memorable for him.
  17. 1-2 on this roadtrip, 10-8 overall on the road, we need to get it together. Cleveland now has the best record in the league. We have got to learn how to win on the road.
  18. The one game where Pau and Bynum play well together, we lose, who would have thought. Also Kobe couldnt have played a better game, a near triple double. <_<
  19. wow, well we know who is getting the last shot
  20. Yeah my bad I thought the Raptors had to foul. I've been back and forth with this game and the Saints/Vikes game.
