  1. I agree. Figure out the positions, and get this started by tonight. We should be done in a couple of weeks max.
  2. I wasnt comparing certainly aspects of the 2001 Ravens defense to the current Jets, they are just as talented collectively imo. On an individual basis one can argue that they have just as many impact players as the 2001 Ravens. Revis is as talented as they come, NA is second to Revis at the postion, Bart Scott is a smaller version of Ray Lewis as far as leadership and toughness is concerned, David Harris is a intelligent player. And plus Rex Ryan is a genius as maximizing potential for every guy on the field. And as far as stoping the run they were top 3 in the league last year, so I don't know where you are going with that. Having two shut down corners changes a whole lot, they'll have the luxury of focusing their attention elsewhere, opposing TE's for example. With Cromartie they just couldnt do that last year.
  3. And that's why I opted to just abbreviate it lol.
  4. Jets are a SuperBowl lock if they sign NA, it would be virtually impossible to move that chain against the defense. They would be like the 2001 Ravens...just plug away with the running game and limit the number of the throwing oppertunities for Sanchez.
  5. Different time zones definitly pose an issue, that's why I had a 10 hour pick deadline set up for last seasons draft. The NFL season is a ways away, I don't see why we need to rush through the draft.
  6. I know this is a free agent thread, but I'll just throw this in here. Redskins, Vikings Agree To McNabb Trade http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2011/jul/27/report-redskins-agree-trade-donovan-mcnabb-vikings/
  7. You better be active this year. We need to get some trades poppin.
  8. We should def do it on OTR again. It helps the site as far as activity and I kind of like the slow pace lol.
  9. So sick, that seriously made my day. Now if the NBA can only follow suit.
  10. Ballhog much? I would be pissed if I was playing alongside Brooks, he's straight up just out to get his.
  11. Badass work as always Brandon, I cant say I've ever been disappointed. I like the dropdown menus better than the individual logos, and also the bottom of the page looks real cool.

  13. It's official: http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/214696/Wolves_Fire_Kurt_Rambis
  14. First off, I didn't realize that Bow Wow was so damn short. He looks like a middle schooler. Second off, he has the stamina off a guy who smokes two packs a day. He goes hard a couple plays and he's completely winded. Dude probably never does cardio lol.
  15. C - Kwame Brown PF - Chris Wilcox SF - Hedo Turkoglu SG - Anthony Parker PG - Derrick Fisher Clutch factor aside, Derrick Fisher is the worst starting pg in the league. He constantly gets burned by opposing guards. I've never liked Hedo, going all the way back to the Kings days. He's a complete liability on defense, and offensively he doesn't know how to play off the ball. I'm pretty sure Kwame plays the five for the Bobcats, I can't imagine him playing the four. He's arguably one of the worst first overalll picks in history.
  16. God damn it Blasco, just give me a straight answer.
  17. Yeh I meant to type or. You can go ahead and finish it.
  18. T Wolves have to go with the best player available and that's Derrick Williams. Experiment with Williams at the three and four, and if need be trade Beasley. Minnesota cant afford to gamble with this pick when you know a guy like Derrick Williams play immediately and make an impact.

  21. 1. Chris Johnson 2. Adrian Peterson 3. Maurice Jones Drew 4. Ray Rice 5. Michael Turner I'm not going to jump on the Arian Foster bandwagon just yet, if he has another productive season then I'll consider bumping him into my top 5. Chris Johnson is the most complete back in the game, and doesn't have any major flaws. Peterson on the other hand has always had a tough time holding on to the ball, until he can rectify that issue he'll stay at #2. Maurice Jones Drew has the best hands out of the group, and runs behind a pretty weak offensive line yet he puts up spectacular numbers year in and year out. Ray Rice and Michael Turner are interchangeable, but I'll go with Ray Rice because he's the better receiver out of the backfield.
  22. Does that not look like Chris McAllister, former Raven db?
  23. Serge Ibaka needs to become a guy who can consistently knock down open 15 footers, and from time to time get down in the post and score. Looking back at the 09-10 season he wasn't much off a scoring threat, but this season he added a jumpshot to his game. Obviously he has a lot of room for improvement, but he has progressed imo.
