I understand that, but if its 100% clear Lebron will NOT be signing with the Cavs, wouldn't it be just as much of an outrage for the Cavs to let James go without trying to get some type of value for him?

Camby. Chris Kaman can arguably be the most underrated center in the league right now. He's been pretty consistent over the years, has a very sound game, and just goes out there and plays hard. Kaman also is only 27, which is a big part of the argument there. Kaman will probably put up all star numbers (especially in the Western Conference where I struggle to see more than a handful of possible All-Star big men) and not even be considered to be in the ASG. Its too bad, really.

Its too bad K-Mart went down. He was on fire this season, guy can flat out score. Sure, its terrible for the Kings, but that team is far from being ready to contend. Another nice draft pick can go a LONG way for a franchise that seems so maligned. Smart for Martin to take care of the injury as opposed to trying to go around it.

Westbrook definitely looks great out there. I try to catch Thunder games when theyre on League Pass (I'm a big Durant fan), and the team has a ton of talent. As far as the Derrick Rose comparison, its not really fair to compare their numbers so far this year. So early into the season, especially. Rose has gotten off to an INCREDIBLY slow start (I know, I have him on my fantasy team), while Westbrook has made a step forward in his game it seems. Not saying Rose is better, or vice versa, but statistically its a little unfair to compare the two right now. Hopefully Westbrook keeps doing what hes doing, takes care of the ball a bit more, and helps the Thunder make a push for the 8th seed.

To me the question is, if Lebron made it clear that he would NOT re-sign with the Cavs, wouldn't management almost be forced into trading him and trying to get some sort of value out of that? And, considering his contract is expiring, without him signing an extension (which he would only do if there was a trade to a team he was interested in available), I can't imagine a team trying to give up big pieces without the guarantee that his contract ISN'T expiring. So, technically, couldn't Lebron dictate where he's going? Or am I mis-reading the situation?

Whats good in here? Big basketball fan (might be an understatement, or an overstatement depending on how its looked at), figured its time to continue networking with a site dedicated to the Association.
