  1. I agree but I think the Mavs proved as long as you have strong options behind a sub-par 2nd option and well your first option is a top 5 player in the NBA, you can get it done. Interesting opinion. If we combine the talents of Landry and West do we get a complete 2nd option? lol
  2. The poll said "Which will have the best season?" or something along that lines. So I think everyone's answer would be Palmer in that circumstance. As for Tebow, I feel he's got a lot of what you can't measure. He's got that will and desire to just be a winner. That being said he still has a slow release and is inaccurate. I'm in the middle on Tebow, I want to believe in him, but just too much going against him for me to pick him. John Beck lost the job to Grossman in the off season and the only reason he has a job is because Grossman is well Grossman. I think I would without a doubt choose Ponder if I was picking my QB of the future.
  3. I think the obvious answer in the veteran Palmer. However if I had to choose one of the guys I'd go Ponder. I think Leslie Frazier actually believes Ponder gives them a better shot at McNabb, and Ponder has Adrian Peterson who he can lean on until he gets his bearing in the NFL.
  4. Thanks for the share, and very sad. One of the best of all time and his life is a complete wreck. His son is promising though. He's like what 6'8 too? I wouldn't be surprised to see him in a couple years.
  5. I think he stays regardless. Just don't see a large market for him in the offseason and can't see him signing anywhere else.
  6. I don't believe he's a legit third option. If he was the Hornets would be a better team than they are now. They have 2 solid pieces in West and Paul and a defensive C and SG's that can hit 3, Ariza is the only thing holding them back from being a contender and it's because he's not a 3rd option. He's a 4th or 5th option or even best used like the Lakers used him, and that's as an energy player off the bench who can come in give a spark and play good defense.
  7. I'd say a big who can stretch the floor and run pick and roll. John Wall's biggest asset is getting to the rim. If he can get a guy like Amar'e, Pau, Aldridge, etc. a big who can hit from 18 feet and come off the pick and roll then I think the paint will be more open for Wall to drive. Not to mention with his passing ability will be deadly off pick and roll as guys come open.
  8. When one of the greatest rebounders of all time is calling you out, you know it's time to go improve your rebounding...
  9. Yeah now that I read it that way I could see how it could be interpreted that way. But like you said, knowing Shaq it's his way of taking a shot, like he did at Kobe when he said he didn't know who Kobe was.
  10. I doubt, you can think that sure, but I disagree. I think Dwight averages a lot of points because he's in an offense that is built completely around him. It is predicated upon him getting 1 on 1's inside by spreading the floor with shooters. It also gives him ample oppertunities for rebounds and put backs because with more lower % shots more rebound oppertunties. I feel the one dimensional Dwight with his 6 foot maybe now what 10 foot range? Would struggle in a different offense which didn't see him as the number 1 option. Even when Shaq was on the Magic he still got a good amount of assists and didn't get a ridiculous amount of turnovers. No need to bring up Dwight's defense. Although I would like to see what would happen if Dwight had to actually guard his man instead of going up against Joakim Noah and Ronny Turiaf.
  11. If most the people who don't like him already have him ignored what's the point of banning him? He's one of the few big sources of activity here.
  12. What does Dwight Howard do in big games? Turn the ball over and miss FT's? At least LeBron gets assists in big games, Dwight had 3 in 6 playoff games last year, what a teammate.
  13. Cause Stephen A said Bron to Heat before anyone else in the world and skip bayless creates ratings through saying ridiculous statements
  14. lol so mad that Revis is better than any player on your defense
  15. Raiders are a product of a favorable schedule...I have them finishing 8-8
  16. Thursdays are going to be awesome, once NBA finally comes back...
