  1. Giradi been out managed, Yankees out played. With a line up like that anything is possible however if I'm a tigers fan I gotta like my chances with Scherzer-Benoit-Valverde
  2. lol Pats +9 Sanchez sucks against good defenses (Cowboys, Ravens, etc) The Patriots? Nuh uh. 24-21 Pats.
  3. I'm shocked by how popular Steve Jobs was amongst people, you would have thought he solved world hunger or something...
  4. Damn, Doug Fister? If you would have told me Fister would have been pitching a meaningful game past September back in April I would have slapped you. If you would have told me that he would be doing it in game 5 of the ALDS at Yankee Stadium I would have had you committed. As for Nova, I'm not gonna criticize Giradi for starting them because I really haven't; watched the Yankees much this year. Nova seems to have pitched well and actually won a playoff game already. That being said he is a rookie and I don't know what happen to Bartolo Colon. Can't say I agree/disagree with any move Giradi has made tonight. It might have look like Nova settled down after that double but really the Tigers were getting themselves out after the double. Peralta hit a ball on the nose right to A-Rod and Santiago would have had a walk had he not lifted the bat off his shoulder. The 2 pitches he swung and missed at both missed their spots terribly just luck for Nova. 2-0 game def still winable, game 5 you gotta do what you can so the quick hook for nova is justifiable and not surprising. Good game so far
  5. Usually I find as many times possible to go to McDonalds this time of year, infact I'll prolly visit McDonalds more time during this period vs the entire year. I've been eating a bit healthier lately, which is more or less not even eating, which isn't really healthy either...I'll probably go a couple times if that
  6. When he tried to freestyle in it it was awful.

  11. Might sound like bad news but seeing what happen actually sounds pretty fortunate that he's only out for 3 weeks. That division is trash, Houston should be fine.

  15. Typically the teams that spend the most win the most, and the teams the spend the least win the least. Obviously there are exceptions to both cases: Rays, Twins, Rockies vs Mets, Cubs, Tigers. Still seems the more you spend the better your chances. Thus why the 3 favorites for the WS this year were Red Sox, Phillies, Yankees.
  16. Punk blowing up, not surprised, I see him feuding for the title while Cena feuds with the Rock.
  17. Now I know why we always eat take out after my sister takes showers
  18. I suppose, either way yeah the NFL really has to get it's rules straight. I feel like every year we get this strange calls that no one knows what to make of them. Tuck rule, Calvin Johnson, the overtime, kickoffs, this I'm sure I could go on and on with the list but the point is the NFL rule book needs some evaluation. Hopefully owners get together this season and get it right. Then again it's hard to compensate for any unforeseen circumstances so I guess we will never have perfect rule book.
  19. He fell forward isn't that making an effort to advance? lol. Going to the ground with no effort to advance would be going feet first or going to a knee, when you fall forward you are making an effort to advance the ball clearly. Oh well, it happens I suppose. I think Cruz's own statement of the idea of him being touched and going to the ground he thought he was down. He himself said he wasn't giving up on the play he just thought he was down. There are very few instances where players declare themselves down in the league. I wonder how it would have been had tables been reversed. Had Cruz got back up and ran for the TD and it being called back, Eli Manning throws int on next play.
