I think Amar'e would have been better because he's a better inside presence defensively. From what I've seen in NY, Amar'e may no be the best individual defender, but he's a great help defender and a good shot blocker.

He could have began/started a legacy anywhere, he wanted to win, the Heat gave him the best chance to do that right now. I think there are plenty of other teams he could have went to that would have been better IMO for him, but if he wanted to win now, which he does, the Heat are the choice.
