Yes becuase it's not like Cutler didn't just dominate the Seahawks last week in the first playoff game of his career. Volek led a comeback drive to upset the Colts the previous week, I don't see how you can say the Chargers would have had no chance.
BTW people talking about Philip Rivers and playing with the torn ACL (which was surgically repaired earlier in the week he left the game in which he injured it), he was 19/37 for 211 yards 0 TD's 2 INT's -- he sucked
I think we are all missing the main point. THE OFFENSE DID BETTER WITHOUT INJURED CUTLER IN THERE. What he did he did for the good of the team, and if that makes you a [expletive], then all pro athletes should be pussies.
Who cares everyone know the Jets story where they started out 8-3 and ended 9-7 because Favre played with a serious injury. People who continue to slam Cutler are absolute morons. CUTLER TRIED TO PLAY AND HE WAS DOING BAD. HE DID THE MOST MATURE THING ANY PLAYER HAS DONE IN REALIZING HE WAS HURTING THE TEAM AND TAKING HIMSELF OUT OF THE GAME. WHAT THE [expletive] DO YOU WANT CUTLER TO DO ON THE SIDELINES? HOW MUCH CAN AN ATHLETE REALLY HELP HIS TEAM FROM THE SIDELINE? CALEB HAS ALL THE COACHES AND TEAMMATES AND FANS ENOUGH IN HIS EAR HE DOESN'T NEED ANYTHING MORE THAN WHAT CUTLER DID FOR HIM AND THAT'S CALM HIM DOWN. Cutler slammers eat your crow, Cutler was right in everything he did in this situation and the criticism he is receiving is ridiculous. DO YOU REALLY THINK HE WANTED TO COME OUT OF THE NFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME?! GTFO.
What the [expletive] do you want the guy to do? Whip out pom pom's and star doing cartwheels and cheers? Grow up Jesus, it's obvious they played better without him so whatever decision was made for whatever reason was the right decision. Until you're put in that situation none of you should judge him.
Yeah let's look past the fact that he led them to the NFC championship game behind probably the worst offensive line in the NFL. Anyone who says Cutler sucks is straight up moron.
