My favorite sport is sort of split between baseball and football, I'd say more baseball though, I like the NFL more than MLB, however the Mets are my favorite and I'll watch the Mets over any other team in sports.

Well I'm not saying it wasn't a nice gesture. Certainly a class act, but at the end of the day his estate is well taken care of and neither of them really need that 12 million. I think it would have been cooler if he just took the 12 million and donated it all to some sort of charity that could absolutely use the money.

Only going to miss 4-5 weeks though -
Even all 3 of them managed to get their crappy teams to the playoffs, you'd think they could find a way to win 1 game.

Feels like the Heat have proven something, they can now lose 4 in a row and we don't have to hear about coaches losing jobs and what else will plague the team. Still surprising to see this team lose 4 in a row.

Tramon* I think the Bears win this one. Everyone keeps saying the Bears aren't as good as their record suggests but there's a reason the Bears are where they are and that's because of their top 5 D and their wild card at QB who can be as good as any other QB in the NFL on any given week. At the same time Aaron Rodgers probably has the best game that I personally have ever seen a QB play in the playoffs. I think the Bears will have success against him a third time though. Either way, it should be a good one. Bears 27 - 24

AFC Championship: NY Jets @ Pittsburgh
fish7718 replied to Real Deal's topic in NFL Gameday Archives
I think the Steelers experience wins out, although if the Jets D plays as well as it has these first 2 playoff games (holding Manning and Brady to a combined 38 points) then it's going to be very tough for them to win. However, I think the Steelers D wins them the give stopping the Jets run and forcing Sanchez into some picks. Steelers 20-13 -
