Different situations though. Players get up slow on tackles too, doesn't mean it was worse than what Johnson did to Finnegan. The reason Johnson should be suspended isn't because he punched an [expletive] who probably deserved. It's because in a league that Goodell has been trying to clean up since he came this sets a horrible example for other players and is a terrible display for children watch to see. It isn't the the pain delivered it is the way it was delivered, right in the middle of the field, Johnson punching a helmetless defenseless player on the ground. What Seymour did may have been bad but it looked a shove and it was over right after he did it and he did it turning around. I'm sure if Seymour turned around, ripped of Big Bens helmet and cocked him in the jaw he'd be suspended.

Just because you are more talented, does not mean you are better. There's a stat that says something like Rodgers is 1-12 in games decided by 3 points or less, Ryan 15-5 in games decided by 7 or less. Doesn't tell the whole story but Matt Ryan gets it done, which makes him better than a lot of the QB's in the NFL. BTW I said I'd take Rodgers too, just saying I wouldn't sleep on Matty Ice the 2 aren't far off at all.

Your only valid argument is that it;s a QB vs CB taking the assault, which is a joke as well. The NFL should protect all of it's players.

Totally disagree, comparing the Seymour situation to this is laughable. First of all, I'm not totally informed on what happened with Big Ben, I don't know what he ran up and said to Seymour, but all Seymour did was shove him. Let's get one thing clear with the Finnegan/Johnson situation. Finnegan was hardly in the wrong. He was jamming Johnson at the line and his hands got up into the facemask, it happens more than it should. For whatever reason Johnson flipped his [expletive] and started acting like a crazed person jumping around and punching Finnegan, what he did was far more than just a shove, lol @ trying to compare the two really. What Seymour did happens all the time too after the play, linemen lose their cool and shove eachother all the time and at worst it's a 15 yard penalty. If Seymour ripped Big Ben's helmet off and starting mugging the [expletive] out of him, you'd have a point.

Who cares where he wins games, he wins them, his team is in line for a #1 seed, what are the Packers in line for? Who cares if he isn't as talented as other QB's, he wins games. Since when is that not enough? It's not all about stats, Matt Ryan gets it done, this Falcons team was the worst team in the NFL before he came in and now they are arguably the best team in the NFC. You have to give Ryan a lot of credit for that type of turn around.
