Garrett may be worse, but at least with Wade gone we can bring someone else in to work with this defense. Obviously Wades schemes became completely predictable, Wade HAD to go. Garrett may not be the best, but he can score points and will win games if the defense is as it should. BTW like Real said I expect Garrett to be gone @ seasons end too, I just think Jerry was tired of the week in week out "when will Wade Phillips be fired" question. Garrett will just finish out the season and be let go.

When has Vick ever lead a team to the NFC Championship game? It's not even Vick I don't have confidence in, it's the defense that doesn't have what it takes to lead them deep into the playoffs. Their offense is great right now, but it's going to take Vick playing amazing every game in the playoffs (all of which will be on the road) to get this team to the super bowl. I don't see how you say you've seen enough of Kolb to say he won't lead a team to the super bowl. The guy has completed 4 games in his entire career and he's 3-1. If Sanchez/Johnson/Dilfer can lead a team to a super bowl anyone can't. Given the Eagles don't and may not have a defense of that standing for years but Kolb is certainly more talented than the former 3. Until you give Kolb 1-2 full years I don't think you can make an accurate assessment of him. Look at Eli Manning, a lot of people in NY wanted him gone after his first 2 or 3 years, he won a super bowl.

The Cowboys are outright awful, one of, if not the worst teams in the NFL.

The colts are not a good team at all right now, their defense is atrocious and their offense is completely one dimensional. Philly was playing at home and should have won that game especially when you consider the one thing the colts do well is cripplled with injuries to Dallas Scott Austin Collie and Anthony Gonzalez. The Eagles are mediocre right now just look at who they beat and who they lost to. There is a lot of parity true but the best plan for a team like the Eaglesnia to build on their young players and break through that parity.

I just can't put him at the same level as cp3 and deron simply because he does not have a complete offensive game like them, rondo is too 1 dimensional with out a 3 point shot all he can do is drive combine that with the fact that he is not good free throw shooter no sorry Rondo is great but he's not on that level

Plus Magic also played with Byron Scott and James Worthy, I know I have to tell you this as you know a lot more Lakers than me. I think we are missing a key point here... Can anyone imagine how many assists CP3 would avg had he played with Kareem Abdul-Jabaar? [expletive] CP3 turned Tyson Chandler into a semi-decent offensive player. Not to mention all the other players on that 1980's roster . I think Magic is better but it's certainly not a laughable comparison. STL you can show us all the numbers you want CP3 is capable of averaging 20 4 15 with that roster. MVP - MOST VALUABLE / not best / if it were best Kobe and LeBron would win it ever year and there would be no point to it

It amazes me how you are still missing the point of why Kolb should be the QB instead of Vick. I think it's been drilled into your head thousands of times by Phightins yet you still don't understand. Let me explain it fully for you one last time so we don't have hear the Vick vs Kolb debate anymore. The eagles plan this year was go with youth. So they let Sheldon Brown walk and they trade McNabb and aquried as many picks as they could to build one of the youngest rosters in football. They did this, so in 3-4 yeas the Eagles will be competing for a superbowl again. Now with Vick here, they aren't competing for the superbowl, they are a play off contender sure, but they are nothing more than a wild card team living on a dream. Which is what they were last year. If they wanted to be the same team as last year they could have kept McNabb, instead they decided to let Kolb their 2nd round draft pick not to long ago, 36th overall, build chemistry with the young core of players. So in 3-4 years when Jackson Maclin Celek McCoy and Kolb know each other like the brothers they can be a power house. Now instead with Vick, you are prolonging the sense of mediocrity while at the same time offering killing your future with Kolb. Unless you really expect Vick to be same QB at 34-35. That is why Kolb is the answer to this team. Yes Vick has been incredible and if he played the whole year he would actually be an MVP candidate, but the Eagles simply do not have the pieces on their team to win a super bowl right now. Their defense is way too young and inexperienced, and their line is in need of a bit of patching up. However sacrificing these couple years let the defense grow and come into it's own and sure up the line was the plan when they traded McNabb. So they made a plan, and went back on it, it's quite laughable to me as a Cowboys fan, although we are the laughing stock of the NFL.
