Lol That whole drive was great play calling by the coaches. All of Cutlers hot reads were mostly wide open. All he had to do was make simple throws and have some help from penalties. First of all no CB tandem compares to C Wood Al Harris. Lol and you judge the ability of a cornerback by interceptions thats funny. Antonio Cromartie had 10 picks a few years back and led the NFL in picks. Meanwhile his pass coverage is mediocre at best. Did you see the DeAngelo Hall interception today? Steve Smith had him totally beat on a post route and Landry tipped a ball infront of Smith and because Hall was so burned the ball went straight to him. There's a reason Champ Bailey doesn't lead the league in picks. QB's just don't throw it to his side. Just because Asante had luck in that beast Pat's D and Sheldon Brown had 2 picks on a terrible QB doesn't mean they are good. Ronde Barber is still very talented. I'd take Talib and Ronde over one of the most over rated CB's in the league Asante Samuel and Sheldon Brown.

Lol I'm just calling it as I see it. As a QB your job is to manage the offense without turning the ball over. If he can't stretch the field a bit for Matt Forte it's his fault. Infact the only reason Cutler started to move the offense is because Forte started gaining yards. If you have no run game its the QB's job to make plays for the running back. He had a bad game it happens. He's got to learn how to protect the ball though. Interceptions kill an offense.

Story of the game: Warner 42 drop backs 21 hurries. Can't win a game like that if you are a team that relies so heavily on passing the ball. Watch out for San Fran, they had a great finish last year and off to a good start this year.

Try that against us and Romo will pick Sheldon and Asante apart all day. Remember last year (the first game).

Solid win today. We proved we can stretch the field. Hopefully more teams will see this and it will open up our run game a bit more and the short routes that romo had trouble hitting today. However I'm the least bit concerned about our offense. We need to play tougher D, if we were playing a better QB he could have put 50 up on us today. Pressure is just a second off, it was only the first game so I'm not terrified but it should be interesting to see what goes down next Sunday night. Good win!
