The horrible refs def weren't the reason the Knicks lost, but it def did not help, and it was blatantly panifully obvious to anybody with an unbiased view that New York was getting [expletive]ed. We lost because Melo and Chandler played awful. Sure you can say whatever you want about Heat defense (lol) but the Knicks just played horrendous on offense. JR smith cannot pass for his life.

Teams would still tank lol, if I'm the 8 seed and I have choice between playing OKC/Bulls/Miami/Spurs or the #1 pick, lol easy decision. Only way that would keep teams from tanking is make it completely random who gets the #1 pick or the lotto less weighted to the bottom teams...

I don't see Melo as HHH at all, probably because I hate HHH and love Rock/Melo. Best comparison I would make is the third wheel one, where Melo is behind Wade and LeBron like HHH was behind Austin and Rock. Anyway my favorite comparison was Tim Duncan as Undertaker. Duncan is just that 1, unquestionable veteran presence. And despite being the greatest PF of all time he was never 'the man'.
