R.I.P Steve Mcnair (Found Shot Dead)
fish7718 replied to MainEv3nt's topic in AFC Conference Discussion
VERY sad day in the world of sports. McNair was a class act, fan favorite and role model to all people. The way he played through all his injuries was amazing. Steve you be missed, prayers to you and your family. R.I.P Steve McNair -
First of all it is so difficult to not win a championship without a dominant big you can go back almost every single championship won the team had a dominant big, Jordan did it 6 times. Then find me another swingman averaging 30+ a game shooting 50% from the field. East Coast sorry this thread is a JOKE.

Some Mets are pleading for Minaya to make a deal
fish7718 replied to Warren2ThaG's topic in Baseball Forum
Matt Holliday is a bit over rated hes backing up the fact that his numbers were a product of coors field. Away from Coors he averages about 20 HR's a year and like a .280 average which is solid but I'd rather have Dunn and you'd be surprised Dunn is not much older than Holliday if he is at all. -

I didn't meet them in that sense of the word. Like I didn't go to one of those things 'meet (player)' or like have meet them off the court. I'm talking bout waiting outside MSG waiting for people to stop their cars lol. Anyway Jamal drove his car and you could just tell he had the best personality. This random chick even asked if she could kiss him lol and he was like yeah whatever. Isiah Thomas seemed like a solid guy as well.

Walsh Hints At Unannounced Player Move?
fish7718 replied to The Goods's topic in New York Knicks Team Forum
I'm assuming that either Curry is opting out or we are trading for T-Mac, or both. -
BTW the fact all you people mention PG's like Deron and Terry and fail to mention Tony Parker shows how under rated he is.
-
David Lee is not under rated trust me I'm a Knicks fan he plays NO defense. I'm surprised no body mentioned Nate Robinson 21 PPG as a starter 19 PPG post all star (30 min PG). He played like an elite scorer at one point last year.

All Jefferson is, is a scorer, which is not a bad thing depending on the system. I think he fits perfectly into the Spurs line up because they needed to find another guy besides the big 3 that could score. However, Artest fits perfectly into any system, he got a decent 3 ball he can handle the ball a little and what I think sets him apart from Jefferson is he will cover the other teams best player. What does that means for the Lakers? Means Artest will lock down PP and allow Kobe to just go off. Ron Artest is the better player. They are both good fits, I believe Artest is a better fit too though.

I actually think NO ONE on that list was on the Mets 2003 roster =) especially glad to see Piazza is not even rumored

Some Mets are pleading for Minaya to make a deal
fish7718 replied to Warren2ThaG's topic in Baseball Forum
Dunn is a perfect fit, we need a power bat. DeRosa is just a spec below perfect. -
lol if your going to compare the WR's why don't you compare the o-linemen as well pal (You said manning blaming his O-line lol its the same as Brady complaining about WR's bud) Manning is better

Some Mets are pleading for Minaya to make a deal
fish7718 replied to Warren2ThaG's topic in Baseball Forum
Yeah there seems to be a feel on panic amongst Mets fans that if we don't make a move now we are going to fall out of the race and not climb back in however, let's examine the facts. The Mets are 2 1/2 games out of first with over 80 games left in the regular season. The Mets have 1/3 of their 25 man roster on the DL right including key players such as; Jose Reyes, Carlos Delgado, Carlos Beltran, John Maine, Oliver Perez, JJ Putz, and Billy Wagner. Despite losing all those players the Mets still are only 2 1/2 out. Last year in July the Mets were as many as 7 games out of the race and still held a firm lead in September. Now the agreement is why make a deal when we have so many players ready to come of the DL and be fresh players in the 2nd half. The response to that would be, "what if these players don't come back or don't perform when they do?" The response to that. If we don't expect so many key players to not come back is it really worth it to trade some of our top young players and go for it this year as opposed to just developing them and playing for 2010 or 2011? I expect Minaya to make a move by the deadline to either make a commitment to now or next year. I just hope it's the right one. -
Push? lol under Over/Under 1,000 Yards for TO

Fact, just has to stay healthy Fact or fiction, Vernon Davis will emerge this year.

Completely agree. Yao is much better from about 8 feet out and back. I think it's not even close when you consider Yao takes the technical free throws for his team Dwight bricks big ft's in playoffs. Then also consider Dwight averaged like 1 apg in an offense where that revolves around catch and shoot 3 pointers. Yao averaged about 3 apg in his offense showing you how Yao's passing is worlds ahead of Dwight's. Yao in a landslide with the injuries Yao by a bit. (After all they are kinda freak injuries)
-
In their prime I'll go with T-mac he was a machine before the injuries hit
-
Fact. No way Culpepper lasts the full season. Fact or fiction, a team that has won the superbowl in the past 3 years makes it back.
-
This topic is a joke in my opinion its not even close. Peyton Manning has always been the best QB between the 2 but ill admit its been debatable. However with Tom Brady coming back from surgery (same injury that killed Palmers arm and ended his career) and taking a full year off from football its not even close. Peyton Manning by FAR.

What's so bad about Zach Randolph?
fish7718 replied to Multi-Billionaire's topic in General NBA Discussion
Yeah just his contract. The fact teams still trade for him proves he is pretty valuable. He is a liability on defense and does tend to take dumb jumpers but other than that hes a very solid player. He was turning into a fan favorite in New York because he was averaging like 25 and 15 for 2 weeks but because of his huge contract that doesn't terminate in 2010 he had to go. -
uhm, Fiction? lol The Bears with Cutler have a shot at a 12 win season Fact or Fiction, LaDainian Tomlinson will lead the NFL in rushing?
