  1. 325,000 now. Probably be close to 400-450 k by the end of today.
  2. Nearing 300K btw. 290,206 right now, and the site's been down for awhile today.
  3. Donations run until July 20th, and then she will get all the money. The guy running the website has already been in contact with her etc.
  4. 106,000 dollars raised and probably will grow even larger has more people find out about this.
  5. So far, Ellis and Udoh have really fit in for the Bucks. Ellis is willing to pass to the open shooter, and Jennings seems to be fitting in so far as well. Bucks won @ GS 120-91 and tonight they beat Portland 116-87. The Bucks averaged 30+ AST both games and tonight had 35 as a team. Ellis: @ GSW: 6-15 FG, 0-2 3 PT, 6-6 FT, 18 PTS, 4 AST, 4 REB, 3 STL, 1 TO, 38 MIN, + 33 @ POR: 4-8 FG, 1-1 3 PT, 5-6 FT, 14 PTS, 9 AST, 3 REB, 2 STL, 3 TO, 32 MIN, +5 Total: 10-23 FG, 1-3 3PT, 11-12 FT, 32 PTS, 13 AST, 7 REB, 5 STL, 4 TO, +38 Jennings: @ GSW: 6-15 FG, 1-5 3 PT, 0-0 FT, 13 PTS, 7 AST, 0 REB, 2 STL, 1 TO, 29 MIN, +16. @ POR: 7-14 FG, 1-4 3 PT, 0-1 FT, 15 PTS, 6 AST, 3 REB, 1 STL, 2 TO, 34 MIN, +17 Total: 13-29 FG, 1-9 3PT, 0-1 FT, 28 PTS, 13 AST, 3 REB, 3 STL, 3 TO, +33 Combined: @ GSW: 12-30 FG, 1-7 3PT, 6-6 FT, 31 PTS, 11 AST, 4 REB, 5 STL, 2 TO, +49 @ POR: 11-22 FG, 2-5 3PT, 5-7 FT, 29 PTS, 15 AST, 6 REB, 3 STL, 5 TO, +22 Do you think a Jennings/Ellis backcourt can succeed? So far, seems like Ellis has been fitting in. Tonight, he made some sick passes on pick n rolls, and just played some great basketball. 15 AST in 22 FG for the combo. This coming week should be a great test for the Bucks and Ellis/Jennings. THU: V. BOS FRI: @ CHA SAT: V. IND MON: V. NYK
  6. Because the chances were very slim that the Warriors were going to make the playoffs? Curry was pretty much done for the year, and Ellis isnt going to lead the Warriors to the playoffs by himself. You guys are in GREAT shape when Bogut comes back healthy and you let Curry rest for the year. Thompson is the real deal, and then you tank and get that pick back. Most owners promise playoffs in the first part of the season and then come trade deadline time, your plans change. He's not the first, and won't be the last. 4 games is a shit load of games when you are only looking at 25 games left in the season. I would rather tank and get better for next season and have a chance at a 6/7 seed then barely make the playoffs, get blown out in the 1st rd and lose that pick.
  7. You don't do it when you are honoring a very good player in Mullin. There is a time and a place to do it, tonight was not the night to do it. He has done more for your franchise then Cohen has in his time as the GSW owner.
  8. So, just watch this video. Words cannot describe how awful this is. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=byBqrtB8Kow&feature=player_embedded#!
  9. FYI, Warriors wanted to trade Curry instead of Ellis but the Bucks were scared off due to Curry's ankle injuries. Jennings/Ellis backcourt is going to be fun to watch, I don't know if it's going to work, but if it doesn't, Bucks could ship one of them off during the off-season. Both will still be pretty valuable in the off-season. Bucks also lose a lot of salary in this trade. I like it.
  10. I would only be interested if the Bucks can get Curry. Magic have nothing that would really work.
  11. I agree, but he has to be better than Brockman. Brockman is just awful, he would be a slight upgrade, even if he was 50% of what he once used to be. Joel said he is 100% healthy, and that his knees are in very good shape, so I would give it a shot. Would be a huge upgrade on defense. Really interested to see how Harris does coming back from dehydration issues. He looked really good in the pre-season and the coaches have high praise for this kid. Another thing that I wish the Bucks would explore was trading either Ersan or Sanders, and draft picks and try to acquire Paul Milsap from the Jazz. He would be a perfect fit for the Bucks, and that move would save Utah salary and allow more room for Favors to grow and develop. Jennings-Jackson-Delfino-Milsap-Bogut could be a very dangerous team.
  12. John Wall is a total douche. After the game: "Very disappointed," Wall said of his reaction to the Wizards' start. "We lost two close games; I think we could have won those two games against the Nets and definitely the Bucks. "We just didn't bring the energy. No way you're making the playoffs if you're not winning the close, tough games against teams like this." You lost by 21 points. It was a 26 point game at one time. And you say this shit after the game? Jesus. I am really liking the Bucks this season. Jennings so far has looked a lot better in terms of decision making and shot selection. He has 20+ PTS in each of the three games and is shooting over 50% the past two games. Struggled the first game shooting, though. Andrew Bogut looks healthy, Jackson is showng leadership skills that the Bucks really lacked the past few seasons. Beno/Livingston/Dunleavy Jr/Leuer have all been really solid as well. Ersan had a good game today, Delfino looked really good coming back. Really liking the depth the team has. PG: Bradon Jennings/Beno Udrich SG: Stephen Jackson/Shaun Livingston SF: Carlos Delfino/Mike Dunleavy Jr./Harris PF: Luc Richard/Ersan/Leuer/Sanders/Drew Gooden C: Andrew Bogut/Jon Brockman I think if the Bucks signed Joel Pryzbilla, Brockman would be gone and that would solve the backup C spot. Too big of a log jam at PF right now though. Gooden should never see the court, and I think Sanders should go down to the D-League and get some more work in. He fouls way too much, and could use a bit more work. I really think this team can win 35-36 games this season and be a 5 or 6 seed in the East
  13. The problem isn't if the deal was fair or not, the problem is these superstars deciding where they want to be traded to when they are still under contract. Look at Dwight Howard now and the Nets, he "demands" a trade to the Nets so he can team up with Deron Williams. If you keep letting teams do this, you are eventually going to have 4-5 teams who have at least 3 superstars. They are trying to stop this before it happens. How fun will it be seeing these teams dominate the league year in and year out?
  14. So he can team up with two other superstars right? Why can't he just finish out his deal and then sign with whoever the heck he wants come next year? Why does he have to "demand" a trade when he has one year left on his contract? A couple weeks ago he said his "heart" was in NO, and then a week later, he demands a trade. If you keep letting players do this, like Dan G. said, you will keep having teams form these superstar teams. It's heading in that direction. I have no problem with what the Heat did with Lebron/Wade/Bosh. Lebron and Bosh were both FA's which is the big difference between Paul and probably Howard going to the Lakers, to Lebron and Bosh signing as FA's. If Paul wanted to go to the Lakers or Knicks, sign as a FA.
