  1. Biedrins is complete trash. They need to send him off before anyone else. Getting Williams would be great for them, but then, they need to look for a real center that actually has the ability to play the position.

yeah, they definitely need to improve at the center position.

they should go after Nene, but idk if they have the cap.

  2. The NBA will investigate Jay-Z’s visit with the Kentucky basketball team after Sunday’s 76-69 win against North Carolina in the NCAA Tournament East Regional Final, reports CBSSports.com’s Ken Berger.

Jay-Z, rapper and part-owner of the New Jersey Nets, might have violated NBA rules because Kentucky has multiple potential first-round draft picks on its roster.

Berger equates the incident to Celtics GM Danny Ainge sitting with Kevin Durant's mother during the 2007 Big 12 tournament. Ainge and the Celtics were fined $30,000 for the infraction.

  3. I gotta go with OKC, but the Wolves could become really dangerous if some things happen:

    1. Rubio eventually wises up and joins the team
    2. the Wolves get a couple more lottery selections
    3. Beasley, Randolph, and Flynn continue to improve
    4. they're somehow able to keep Love long term (doubtful)
    5. Wesley Johnson develops into the player they were expecting

  4. So many we's for a guy who repped the Knicks and Celtics this month.

so that's why you be disrespecting me? <_<

Outside of making several different usernames and pretending they weren't all him?

The dude has been banned at least twice, maybe three times in the past for stuff. This isn't out of the blue. Comes back, vows change, gets bored, gets banned again. Wash, rinse, repeat.

that's understandable, but he didn't really do anything this time around to deserve an eternal ban. maybe I'm missing something, but what he posted in this topic certainly isn't worthy of that punishment imo. continuously baiting and trolling or spamming the site would be one thing, but he actually seemed to be getting things together lately. before he left on that vacation, him and I were involved in a couple long, mature debates here. he was respecting my opinions and making compelling arguments even though he disagreed with me completely. this whole thing seems kinda raunchy to me, but oh well. -_-

  5. meh, I could care less that we lost. it's not surprising to me, actually. we were without Chalmers, Miller, and Haslem, the game was in Cleveland, and the Cavs wanted it more. I guess it's only fair the Cavs fans get this inkling of happiness after LeBron embarrassed them last summer. I'd rather we stay in third and face the Sixers in the first round anyway.

Bosh laid another egg in this one. the dude just seems like he doesn't give a shit sometimes. Spo gives Anthony too many minutes off the bench. that's guy's almost completely worthless. we need desperately to upgrade at the big man positions this summer. I'll at least give credit to Bibby, though. if he can play even half that well in the playoffs, I like our chances.

as far as the N/A situation goes, I'm disappointed about the ban. he was a dedicated member and he was always honest. I respected that about him and it seems a little harsh that a guy who had over 3000 posts here would be banned permanently. I'd be up for giving him one last chance, but I'm probably the only one here who feels that way. I don't know much about his history here or what he's done in the past, though, so I may just be speaking out of ignorance.

well, I'm out for the night. until tomorrow, fellas.

  6. The Lakers and Clippers strongly oppose the Kings' move to Anaheim, sources say, because it would bring a third team into their market playing out of a building (Anaheim's Honda Center) that sits just 30 miles away from Staples Center.

But the Lakers and Clippers would need 14 other teams to oppose the Kings' relocation when it reaches the voting stage. But one source said there are already strong indications in circulation that the Kings will be able to secure the minimum 16 votes required (and maybe more) to clinch the simple majority needed to ratify any proposed relocation.

It would appear that the best L.A.'s teams can hope for is a hefty relocation fee that could dissuade brothers Joe and Gavin Maloof, who co-own the Kings. Relocation fees in the NBA are "discretionary," meaning that the fee established by the league's Board of Governors vary from relocation to relocation. The Seattle SuperSonics, for example, paid a $30 million relocation fee when they moved to Oklahoma City.

  7. Well, the two superstars and the other guy all had 30/10 each the other night, so I'm guessing you don't have enough confidence in them to have 40/15 games against a team you guys will obviously manhandle as if they were a junior high team?

You don't know why I made a comment in this topic? Why did you change Cleveland's Finest name in the quote box to just "Cleveland" anyway?

    Oh you cocky Heaters you.

so you're serious about thinking the Heatles will score 120 tomorrow?

  8. ^^Agree with a lot that article said. IMO, Rose is third behind Dwight and LBJ. Dwight gets my vote because not only is he the best big man in the NBA putting up great stats, but he really is the most valuable player when you talk about importance to a good team. The Magic's supporting cast might be as bad as what LBJ was playing around in Cleveland.

A the same time, you have LBJ who is hands down the best, most productive player in the NBA who would make history with an MVP this year but playing alongside Wade is hurting his chances. However, if we end up catching Chicago the debate should get much more interesting.

you took the words out of my mouth, sir.

great article btw. I agree with the author. Howard should win this year's MVP. Rose gets all the credit even though he's arguably the worst defender in Chicago's starting line. if you're going to use that LeBron has Wade argument, you also have to realize Rose has Deng, Boozer, and Noah. those three players combined are way more impressive than just Wade. the Magic are pathetic without Howard and they're still a contender just because of him. looking back at those stats, it seems Shaq should've won the award in '01 as well.

  9. James, Wade and that one guy are going to have a combined 120 points, 50 rebounds, and the Heat will win 122-116.

wtf? you think each of the big three are going to drop 40? there's no way that's going to happen. the Cavs suck, but they don't suck that much. I see the big three combining for 75 points and 25 rebounds. they'll sit out most of the fourth quarter because Miami will get a big lead early.

  10. I want the zoom kobe 1's. I wanted them back in the day but never got em, theyre my favorite looking Kobe's. Doubt I could find them anywhere though.

yeah, those would be hard to find anymore. if you searched around online long enough, you could probably find a pair to buy eventually.

  11. Wheres the best place to buy shoes? Footlocker is way overpriced. Although I do have a coupon from 2k11.

I'd suggest flightclubny.com - that's where I go to get all my kicks. they got a relatively savory selection of J's, Nike's, etc. you can also order that shit by make, size, and price too, which is coo.

  12. LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh each finished Sunday's 125-119 win over Houston on Sunday with at least 30 points and 10 rebounds.

The last time an NBA team accomplished that feat was in November of 1997 when Isaiah Rider, Brian Grant and Arvydas Sabonis had 30-10 in a quadruple overtime win.

James had 33 points, while Bosh had 31 and Wade had 30. Bosh led with 12 rebounds, followed by Wade with 11 and James with 10.

  13. that's why you do it.. You all hating on me because you're just following the others.. I didn't do anything wrong except spam like an idiotic 2 years old child who wants to advertise his first website. I decided to give up on spamming and focus on helping communities.. anyways, other than that I didn't do anything wrong. I help on activity, post good topics etc. I have to admit my english isn't like some of yours guys, but I try my best.

hey Swish, I had never had a problem with you, man. you like basketball and you're an active member - that's all that matters to me. my advice to you would be to just ignore people. anywhere you post, there's going to be immature members. they'll criticize you for anything and everything - it's just who they are. if you respond to their insults, they're just going to want to do it more. if you ignore them and post about basketball, they'll eventually ease off. I've been posting on forums for five years now, and that's the one thing I've learned about trolls.

honestly bro, you're a much better poster than I was at your age. you're already really active, which is great. don't worry about appeasing other members - just stay true to yourself, continue to study the game, and everything else will fall into place. hey, I've been doing this for years now and I've never been one of the 'popular guys' on the forum. I'm not a people person - it's just not my thing. people throw insults at me all the time and I still keep coming back. I won't let anyone get in the way of what I enjoy, and that's posting about basketball. as soon as you learn to disregard them and just do you, things will get better.

    here's to basketball. :drunk:
