  1. I have no clue how this will turn out, and the Raiders have a recent history of making terrible decisions. However, as poor of decisions that Al Davis and the Raiders make, at least they go out and spend money to try and build a winning team. I think the actual moves are generally poor, but you have to at least respect that they are willing to spend and try and build a winning team.
  2. I think that's a very cool option, and I hope the 360 can have that option someday. However, you can still get NFL ST without Direct TV, so I'm not sure how much value it really has. HOWEVER, I think a lot of college students will purchase it. At college, you can't choose to have Direct T.V. or Comcast because you are given whatever the school has (usually), so having the option of purchasing NFL ST on the PS3 would be huge for college students, I know I would buy it if it were on the 360 for 49er's games, and watching the Jets get slaughtered.
  3. Yes, they do. I watched them the other day, unless they took them down.
  4. Apparently the Raiders fans were being complete thugs as usual at the game tonight, and shot three people outside the stadium.
  5. I don't think either hit was dirty, and credit to both players for getting up right away. The penalty on the Ochocinco hit was worse. You can't take that hit out of the game. It's a play on the WR, trying to make sure he does not catch the ball.
  6. I disagree. I think if Wade had multiple championships, that could play a major factor, but he only has one championship. I don't think his one championship is enough to place him over LeBron, even if we are just talking about career accomplishments.
  7. http://www.boston.com/sports/football/patriots/articles/2011/08/19/for_depth_they_may_be_in_league_of_their_own/?page=1 There's only multiple NFL executives that were creaming their pants talking about the Patriots domination last night. This team is GREAT!
  8. Well, I'm back to help. After watching the game tonight, here's a massive mistake the Redskins made.....letting this man go. http://img3.yardbarker.com/media/3/7/37ccfa0752bfde0a12acc11706a70b6ed27bcec7/related/Washington_Redskins_v_a322.jpg?stamp=1312950672
  9. All I can say about tonight's game is......WOW!!!! The Patriots defensive line was absolutely dominant, and only allowed 9 yards well into the second quarter. They were after Freeman the entire first half. Andre Carter was unbelievable. He was by FAR the best defensive player on the Patriots tonight. He was nothing short of unstoppable. The offense was pretty good in the first half as well, but the offensive-line was a little shaky. This season is going to be amazing.
  10. I like that list for the most part, and can't disagree with most of it, but I don't think Olin Kreutz should be there. It is tough for Centers to make the HOF. I was actually going to say Jason Witten as well, but I didn't realize he had as many accolades as he does, although I think some are because he's on the Cowboys
  11. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wk9dNsfDhYs It looks like around the :05-:06 second mark that one of the Chinese players goes after one of the Georgetown players. Then, throughout the video, the Chinese fight in packs and gang up on solo players.
  12. I always like Masterson. I was actually really disappointed to see him go. At the time, I would rather have dealt Clay.
  13. 49er's: -New OC every damn year since Alex Smith was drafted. -Since their last playoff appearance, pretty much everything. Patriots: -Honestly, I can't think of a major mistake that they've made recently. I guess I would go with Adalius Thomas.
  14. What players that are currently playing do you think are HOF locks? These players must be on a team currently, so lets not count T.O. and Moss in this? Also, for players that have been in the league for a few seasons, which players do you think will be locks in five years?
  15. It's no surprise that a former bred Red Sox player is the one that started it all. :glasses: .
  16. For whatever reason I read the title as saying Al Harrington, and then the word Detroit stuck out, and it was obvious it was about this major ass bust. Damn, this guy was a massive, massive, massive bust. .
  17. The only WR's I would take over him without hesitation: Calvin Johnson Andre Johnson Larry Fitzgerald Roddy White is overrated, Wayne is getting old, Jennings isn't better, and Austin is a one hit wonder.
  18. Actually, looking at all of the WR's in the NFL, I think he has an argument for a top 5 WR.
  19. Honestly, I don't know many people who would consider him top five. Personally, I think he's a top five most dangerous offensive threat in the NFL, and could become a top 5 WR.
  20. I agree with you for the most part. It's just a giant mess. I understand why the aren't compensated, but I think if donors and former alumni want to give money to some players to satisfy them, then that should not be too big of a problem. I think a major problem that schools would run into if THEY were to compensate the players, is that women athletes would need to be compensated equally, which they sure as hell don't deserve.
