How many superstars are there in the league?
EastCoastNiner replied to The Regime's topic in General NBA Discussion
Sorry, I was diagnosed with a learning disability before my junior year in college, so thank you. This reinforces that you're a douche-bag. Instead of having a normal, civilized response like most people, I'll just act like you! It's unfortunate that happened to you, but your responses to questions, or lack thereof, are terrible. -
How many superstars are there in the league?
EastCoastNiner replied to The Regime's topic in General NBA Discussion
A good portion of those players were not superstars. You can be a great player, and not be a superstar. You can be a HOF'ER, and not be a franchise player or superstar as well. If you don't understand that, I don't know what to tell you besides watch some more basketball, and develop a better definition of what a superstar is. -

I watch plenty. I'm not the person who will say Amare is terrible on day, and then claim he's pretty much the GOAT the next day. . The real idiots are the ones that won't give up Raymond Felton in a deal for Melo. . /convo with clueless person. -
Okay... It's time. Please? Like I'm really begging!

I would not mind running it if we were to do one because I'm always one of, if not the most active person in the leagues, and I have plenty of time throughout the day during college. . Just let me know what program you want me to use. -

How the hell can you guys have a 1.2 gpa or worse? That is beyond absolutely pathetic, and near impossible. . -
M.J. couldn't hold Kobe's jock strap. It's all revisionist history and making past greats seem better then they were.

Who is the most overrated player in the NBA?

Well, then "people" must just be you because no one else considered him a "superstar". -
How many superstars are there in the league?

He has the numbers, but he doesn't have the instinct and ability to take over the game like those two players do. I think there are VERY FEW superstars in every sport. I'd put D12 in the 2nd tier below the three I named. -

And, you idiots are putting D12, CP3, Dirk, ect., on the same level as Kobe Bryant, Dwayne Wade, and LeBron James, when they aren't even in their league. That's more absurd. -
I think people are going to view Pierce as more of a #1 scoring option, but Ray Allen as the perfect complimentary SG.
-
Who do you think will go down as the better player of all-time?

And, Jordan could travel all he wanted and push off people. He's an over-rated player, and couldn't hold Kobe's jock.

I'm sorry you have a terrible definaiton of what a superstar is, and I feel for you. You watch the [expletive]ing Wizards who are a bunch of scrubs, so anybody half decent looks like a HOF"ER to you. . -
How many superstars are there in the league?
EastCoastNiner replied to The Regime's topic in General NBA Discussion
No, they are very good players, and amonst the leagues best, but if you're calling them superstars, you have the easiest definition of a superstar I've ever seen. We might as well throw Michael Olokowandi, Marcus Fizer, and Kwame Brown on the list. . Kobe, LeBron, and Wade. /Correct answer. -

Too bad we won't be watching CP3 five years from now because he'll be retired from his piss poor, meniscus missing knees. -

You call that a short list of super-stars? Get Paul, D-Will, Dirk, Durant, and Howard the hell off of that list. -

Some of you are extremely funny. Most of you posting in here have claimed that Chris Paul is a superstar and by far the best PG in the NBA. Now, after listening to me for years, you finally realize he's over-rated. Also, please, do not ever put D12 in the same list as Kobe, LeBron, and Wade. Never, ever, ever do that. Durant is a purely offensive player, and offers little to nothing else to his team, but his offense is very good. Kobe(He's falling off this list, but will see how he plays come playoff time) LeBron Wade Amare -
I think it's stupid if the Knicks don't pull the trigger on a trade for Melo. I'm sorry, but you can find a Landry Fields in any draft, and he can't hold Melo's jock. You can find a PG in the draft or Free-Agency, but you aren't going to find a Melo. I think it's hilarious when people think it's stupid of New Jersey to offer up four 1st round picks. Go and look at the past 5 or so drafts and tell me the studs that are found at the bottom of the draft, which is where the Nets picks would most likely be. . *Waits for mention of Wilson Chandler*
-
I'll take that trade every day of the week. .

Also, if Valabik plays on the Boston Bruins and not in the AHL, I hope for the Canadiens sake that they don't try and start [expletive] next meeting. .
