Tom Brady Wins NFL MVP In Dominating Fashion
EastCoastNiner replied to EastCoastNiner's topic in AFC Conference Discussion
How Vick should have gotten votes. At first, I thought he would get some, but the more I think about it the more obvious it becomes why he didn't. It's more of a "How can't you vote for Brady?" than anything for the vote. It's nothing against Vick because there are reasons he could have gotten votes, but there's no reason Brady shouldn't have. -
Tom Brady Wins NFL MVP In Dominating Fashion
EastCoastNiner replied to EastCoastNiner's topic in AFC Conference Discussion
Please, do explain. I thought Vick would have gotten some votes, but it makes perfect sense that Brady received all 50 votes. It wasn't that Vick wasn't deserving, but rather there was no way that the voters couldn't vote for Brady. -
This is just another reason he's becoming my favorite WR. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/blog/shutdown_corner/post/Video-DeSean-Jackson-s-emotional-surprise-visi?urn=nfl-316576

The sexy beast received all 50 votes on route to his second NFL MVP award. Now, the Patriots need to spend some damn money for once(3rd lowest payroll in the NFL), get some damn offensive weapons, and Brady needs to step it the [expletive] up in the playoffs for once in a long [expletive] time. http://sports.espn.go.com/boston/nfl/news/story?id=6095673

They don't deserve to. It'd be like the Packers trying to trade Aaron Rodgers(If he had one year left and was going to leave) and originally getting an offer of Jonathan Stewart, Jimmy Clausen(cue the negative value jokes), two 1st round picks, and two second round picks, but denying it because they wanted three 1st round picks. Then, the next best offer they get is Matt Moore, a 3rd round pick, and Brandon LaFell. .

Super Bowl XLV: Pittsburgh vs. Green Bay
EastCoastNiner replied to Real Deal's topic in NFL Gameday Archives
I'll be rooting for the Packers unfortunately....... -
They have no leverage, at all. They tried to be extremely stingy, and it has completely backfired on them. This may be the best offer they will get now. .
-
Yes, most definitely.
-
I don't know how that pale white boy raps so good........

And, when he's not scoring he's non-existent. That's hardly a "once in a lifetime talent". There are very few "once in a lifetime talents" in the NBA, and Durant is not one of them, yet.
-
A once in a lifetime talent? Are you kidding me?

If you're going to tell me Manu Ginobli is elite, then, . He's a very good player, but he's nowhere near being elite. Tim Duncan was an elite player, but Manu was not, and is not, an elite player. There are very few players in this league that are elite, and Manu is not one of them. Maybe you can learn some vocabulary words, such as elite?

I know what you are saying, but at the same time, it seems like all of the protesters were one set of people as there was no fighting amongst each other, so I can somewhat understand why the driver did what he did. I need to watch it again because it does look like he went out of his way to hit people.
-
I'd like to know the whole story before I solely blame the driver. The car was surrounded by a hostile crowd, so I'll wait until more details come out.

Numbers don't always tell the story, but any team in the NBA would take a player that averages better than 18ppg and 10rpg, especially a player like Pau Gasol. You tell him to stick to watching the Raptors and that he hasn't seen many Laker games, so he can't comment, but there's no doubt if you didn't watch any Lakers games, you'd find some way to hype up Kobe and cream your pants over him. I'm sure he's watched multiple Lakers games this year.
-
He's easily the biggest [expletive]-hole in the league, and much bigger than M.J. was who I think was the biggest douche to play in the NBA, that actually had skill. Maybe Phil should learn how to actually coach. It seems like it's tough for him to coach when his perennial all-stars year after year are struggling. Talk about a coach that needs elite talent to look good.

Obviously Miller was a better player, but he's not all that people claim him to be.
-
Reggie Miller is a glorified Michael Redd.

I know what you're talking about now. It was a picture of some fat kid at some restaurant or something. That was a picture I found on google, and nobody believed it was me because it wasn't. I'll find the picture on google if I can, but if you type in something like "fat nerd" or something you should find it.

Too bad a straight free-fall, like I sated, is completely different from tumbling down a mountain. I never said it wasn't a cool story or anything, just that tumbling down a mountain is completely different from free-falling and crashing. If you free-fall from 1,000 feet, you won't live which is what I was saying, but you like to stalk me and make illogical posts. And, you obviously don't know the difference between the words major difference and irrelevant because they are associated in no manner whatsoever. As for the 300 pounds of fat, that is a negative. That number is better associated with the total weight of your baseball card collection.

I'm sure there will be another big storm in a few days or next week. .

Tom Brady Wins AP OPOTY Award In A Landslide
EastCoastNiner replied to EastCoastNiner's topic in AFC Conference Discussion
Wow, I don't know what I was thinking when I asked about the other possible votes. I knew it was OPOTY, but I kept thinking of the MVP award for some reason and how anyone else besides those two could have gotten votes. Maybe Matt Cassel will get a few MVP votes.
