  1. Yes, but that has NOTHING to do with this thread. You have made comments like that in other threads, and it's stupid. Jealousy.
  2. Oh, look who started everything by bring something up that had NOTHING to do with baseball. Go figure.
  3. Nope. You guys tried to bring an irrelevant topic into this thread, and expect people not to defend it. I can act just like you guys. Why don't you guys go beat innocent people at the stadium?
  4. Let me guess: - You became a New York Yankee fan in the mid-late 1990's. - You became a Green Bay Packers time in the mid-late 1990's. - You became a Miami Hurricanes fan around 2000. - You became a Miami Heat fan around 2006. I'm guessing you're a Pittsburgh Penguins fan as well. I've got you figured out.
  5. Way to take a post out of context as you like to do. This has nothing to do with arguing or being biased, at all. 1. You're seriously a complete moron because I said " I'm sorry, but I just think that the NL is complete [expletive], and the only team that I can see actually standing a chance in the AL is the Philadelphia Phillies, although I think they would really suffer because of Ryan Howard, Jimmy Rollins, and Jason Worth." 2. I never said the Philadelphia Phillies weren't a threat. 3. I have said that the Boston Red Sox have sucked, so there goes your "bias" point. 4. I have said the Philadelphia Phillies are good and have improved. And, you will find many people that will say the same exact thing about Ryan Howard and Jason WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEErth in particular. Also, I love how you guys like to point out a spelling mistake when I have spelled his name correctly in this thread and mistyped it. People do that when they don't want to respond to a point. So, Paul, so much for your post which was completely off-base. .
  6. Well, I'm looking forward to seeing Ryan Howard on a steroid lists pretty soon, and I used to think that Phillys treated unfairly by the media, but the recently events changed my mind. Lets beat an old man, santa, use laser pointers at a game, ect.
  7. Because I am correct, and you guys are jealous. Do you know how many KG threads there were during the NBA season? It's pure jealousy, and now New York is getting a taste of its own medicine this decade.
  8. I'm not bitter. It's you guys that are jealous of success.
  9. Nope. They struggled against them in Week 16 as well, so I wasn't overwhelming shocked. If you want to talk about the biggest fail of All-Time, go back to 2004 where some team was up 3-0, and happened to blow the series. .
  10. I could go on and on about the 49er's, Steelers(worst of them all), Chiefs, and other teams that have "cheated" as well. If it was a huge deal, they would have lost more than just a 1st rounder, and you're just a bitter New York Yankee fa.
  11. Wow, original, and it was obvious that you were going to say that, but it's cool.
  12. Even though it made no difference and almost every coach would tell you that, considering signals change every game. You're just made your Eagles got their asses handed to them, and Donavan McNabb can't win the big game. Not to mention that they wont 18 games in a row without any "secret tapes". .
  13. Honestly, I wouldn't doubt it because they were around, nor would I doubt many other players used them as well, regardless of their team.
  14. I don't know many Boston Red Sox fans that go around calling the New York Yankees dirty, but if you're talking about A-Rod, that's obvious. They can throw the Boston Red Sox players under the bus right now, but there is a list that came out a few weeks ago with 100 players on it, and there are quite a few New York Yankees on there as well. Not to mention that I actually believe the story about Mickey Mantle using steroids, and I really hope that is true, so people can lay off this era, and so New York Yankee fan can shut up. Honestly, I'm not surprised one bit, and it just reaffirms my belief all along, but I would like them to release more names soon.
  15. This has nothing to do with soccer, and this wouldn't effect anything in comparing baseball to soccer considering soccer players use steroids as well.
  16. I've really stared to like NCIS in the past year.
  17. I did see that Jimmy Rollins is having a very good July, but he still has a .288 OBP, and that is not good at all, any way you want to cut it. I'm actually pleasantly surprised with Ryan Howard, and the HR's are great, but I will not ignore the strike-outs, and if you want to point it out, Jason Bay and Kevin Youkilis are pretty high up on the list, and I have no problem saying that they have sucked recently, especially Jason Bay. I really don't know what else to say about Jason Werth, as I haven't seen him enough, but strike-outs mean a lot to me in terms of evaluating a player. And, the World Series comment is a little bitterness on my part, but partially how I really feel. I knew once the Tampa Bay Rays beat the Boston Red Sox that they were screwed in the World Series because they were facing a very good offense that was actually healthy, although if I remember correctly, Chase Utley and Ryan Howard struggled in the World Series and the Philadelphia Phillies still managed to win. And, I do feel like the St. Louis Cardinals improved their team a little more than the Philadelphia Phillies, but they are both good teams. Also, I know Cliff Lee has a good ERA, but when I watch him, I just don't get how he does as well as he does because I don't feel as if his stuff is really good, but I guess it is.
  18. I'm not sure who else he has come close to hitting in the head, but obviously since I am a Boston Red Sox fan I'm not going to like him throwing at Kevin Youkilis. Maybe it is just some control problems, but who knows? I do think he has a problem with Kevin Youkilis though.
  19. No, the aren't "absolutely" better. The Cardinals added Matt Holliday and Mark Derosa to their line-up, and the L.A. Dodgers may not be better, but their pitching makes in close one way or the other. And, I don't hate Philly as before the Manny Ramirez trade I had them going to the World Series where as you Philly fans were saying you needed better pitching. They are improved, but they aren't definitely better than some of the teams I listed.
  20. Put Ryan Howard and Jason Werth in the AL, and they are #1 and #2 in K's, no question. And, a .288 OBP is downright pathetic.
  21. Jimmy Rollins is garbage right now, and Ryan Howard and Jason Werth(playing as well as he can) are strike-out machines in the NL, and would suffer BIG TIME in the AL.
  22. Does somebody want to give Joba Chamberlain the memo that it is not a good thing to throw at a players head? He has done this a good amount of times, and he's done it to Kevin Youkilis a lot, and somebody on the New York Yankees is going to pay the price for him doing this, and it won't be someone hitting A-Rod is the ribs like last year, it will be at the head or the wrist. He needs to cut the [expletive].
  23. Law and Order SVU is one of my favorite shows. I never used to watch Law and Order CI, but I reallllllllllllyyyyyyy like that now.
  24. The Los Angeles Dodgers are not a joke, even though they play in the NL West. Even with the trade for Cliff Lee I'm not sure that the Philadelphia Phillies are the best team in the MLB, let alone the NL. I'd say that the New York Yankees, L.A. Dodgers, St. Louis Cardinals, and the Boston Red Sox are all in the "Top 5" with the Philadelphia Phillies right now, and the Tampa Bay Rays are right there as well. I'm sorry, but I just think that the NL is complete [expletive], and the only team that I can see actually standing a chance in the AL is the Philadelphia Phillies, although I think they would really suffer because of Ryan Howard, Jimmy Rollins, and Jason Worth. The pitching is definitely improved, but I'm not sold on it. You can say I'm making excuses, but I think that if the Boston Red Sox and the Tampa Bay Rays didn't go 7 games last year in the ALCS, the World Series may have been a different story because of the superior pitching in the AL.
