  1. Too bad it made complete sense, and you haven't tried to refute anything. You might as well post a legitimate response and explain your thoughts. Also, Prodigy, you have no room to talk about pretty much anything.
  2. And, why would I take his absolutely retarded bet? Do I think Chris Johnson is an elite HB? No, but I do think he can reach 1,000 yards. Going strictly on rushing ypg last season, 19 HB's would have averaged 1,000 yards over the entire season if they all played 16 games, and 17 HB's reached 1,000 yards. If he really thinks Chris Johnson is as good as he says, my offer is much more fair, than trying to make a bet where it's pretty damn easy to reach 1,000 yards rushing.
  3. 1,000 yards? . You can't be serious. That's a pedestrian number for HB's in today's NFL. An HB doesn't have to average over 70ypg over an entire season to break the 1,000 yard mark. I bet you $20 he doesn't finish with 1,600 yards. But, I know you won't take it since you're all talk unlike me who has already made multiple bets with members here.
  4. Are there really six people that think the answer is actually 0? .
  5. ALL ABOARDD!!! The Benoit Pouliot bandwagon is starting to leave the station. Get on while you can!
  6. That's what I figured, but they're completely different situations. 1. I have said multiple times that Rodgers is a great QB. 2. I don't think I said Gronkowski was THE best TE in the NFL in this thread. I'm pretty sure I ranked five TE's in no particular order. I'm not saying you have claimed I said either of those, but I'm just addressing the point. Now, for the point he is supposedly trying to make, the situations are not comparable. Aaron Rodgers being crowned as the #1 QB in the NFL (I see the argument) who is coming off a great season is much different than comparing a TE coming off a great rookie season and continuing his success in his second season. Crowning Rodgers the #1 QB in the NFL after having a great season last year and having a great one this year is different because his top competition for that crown is a player that just won the NFL MVP last season, is leading the league in yards this season, and is tied for passing TD's this season. For a TE, or many other positional players, I think it's much easier to rank them, and say they are for "real" after such a short period of time. With him addressing Gronkowski (I didn't really bring him up first besides the list), there aren't many TE's that were the clear class of the league last year, or are clearly at the top of the NFL this year. Not many had dominant seasons like him last year, and are continuing them this year. The situations between where Rodgers is being ranked after a short period of time (albeit longer than Gronkowski) is not the same as Gronkowski as Rodgers has supposedly dethroned the reigning NFL MVP, who is one of the all-time great QB's, who is having just as good of a season as Rodgers, and leading him in multiple important categories, and is close in others.
  7. Every quote you have responded to, you've barely made any sense. So, again, what is your point, or what are you asking?
  8. That's wonderful. I'm hoping on the Benoit Pouliot bandwagon if you want to hop on before he begins his quest for the Art Ross and Conn Smythe. The train is leaving the station.
  9. What is your point? That had nothing to do with what I said. I have no clue what Universe is trying to say, not a clue. If you're trying to say Rodgers is having back to back dominant seasons, and may be the best QB in the NFL, I guess I can follow you, but what you quoted made and then responded with makes no sense.
  10. Never-mind. You're definitely not insinuating that I said Austin is near the level of Calvin Johnson. I went back to that thread where we were discussing both of them, and I had to make sure I didn't say something incredibly stupid for the first time in my life. Calvin Johnson is just too good though. However, his TD tonight was just pathetic defense, especially by Merriweather.
  11. Da fuk? I hope you're mocking Fish, and not saying I placed Miles anywhere near Johnson.
  12. No, I understand your point, and Gronkowski is having back to back dominant seasons, proving his consistency. I don't think he would need to be consistent to be considered a premier TE anyways because of his obvious skill level.
  13. If the defense had Demarcus Ware, that would be even more unfair. I'd rather have the defense as it is over the offensive group. It would be game over for any offense, including the offense in the first post.
  14. Get in the end-zone you dumb [expletive]. I need to beat the spread you jackass!
  15. Which core would you rather have, if you were to build you franchise? Let's just say for arguments sake that each core is locked up for the next six years. Aaron Rodgers, Calvin Johnson, Desean Jackson, and Adrian Peterson. Or: Ndamakong Suh, Darelle Revis, Mario Williams, Nnamdi Asomugha, and Jason Pierre-Paul. I gave the second group an extra player because Aaron Rodgers would probably be taken over any of these players.
  16. I'm glad your on the Calvin bandwagon. Randy Moss's record is in serious jeopardy.
  17. He's only one of the players I ranked in the top five TE's that I listed. However, if you are talking about him in particular, here is why he is better than Finley, and why I rank him high. 1. He had 10 TE's last season, which is more than any TE in the NFL 2. He has continued his success from last year with 5 TD's this year, and wasn't even supposed to play last game. So, he has had continued success in just two seasons, and can actually stay on the field. Now, if you're comparing him to Jemichael Finley, here is why Gronkowski is better. He's bigger, stronger, faster, jumps higher, has much bigger and better hands, is a superior blocker, doesn't get injured, and is smarter (wonderlic test for what it's worth).
  18. No, I think Dee ruined it by giving her reasoning. If she didn't, I think more people would have given a different answer. I got this from another site, and it made me realize that our country is in trouble.
  19. Complete the following equation, and vote in the poll 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 x 0 = ?
  20. He played well that game. It was pretty apparent I was talking about this season with a top 15 pass defense. A blind squirrel finds a nut every once in a while. I''m holding off on crowning him until he proves he can have consistent dominant seasons, and he's on his way to it, but not yet.
  21. Mainly because some of their best players are completely over-hyped, and Rodgers on field attitude is becoming very similar to Phillip Rivers. Also, people calling Jemichael Finley the best TE in the NFL is about as funny as it gets. The Packers have played well, but the ball-washing of Aaron Rodgers after such a short time being a great QB is quite amusing. When he shreds a team with a better pass defense than #15, then we can talk. Until then, the overrating of him is pretty absurd. With that said, the Packers have a reasonable chance at going 16-0 during the regular season due to the fact that they are a very good team, and play the biggest cupcake schedule I've seen in a long time.
  22. There is pretty much nothing you have that I would be interested in. You have Matt Forte....and that's it.
  23. McNabb was a pro-bowl player before too, but that doesn't change the fact that he sucks right now. Teams have figured Chris Johnson out, and he's in for a long season. He's just not that good.
