Was just about to post that IT IS happening. Front page of Canesport.com. /Please God let this happen! Also, in regards to Shannon, losing to USF is unacceptable at Miami. Flat out.

After listening to it more..is this the GOAT Yeezy album? I know early fans have serious emotional love for Dropout and LR...but this is damn good. Its certainly in the convo.

All Of The Lights is epic, interlude and all. I definitely would've put Christian Dior Denim Flow on here over So Appalled as well.

Studio.

For the first time in a while, we looked in sync out there. Now granted, it was against the Wizards without John Wall but there were definitely good signs. We pushed the ball a lot more which was refreshing to see. Wade started slow but definitely finished well tonight. LBJ was money in the first half as well. The game got physical and we responded well. Juwan Howard is the man. Biggest thing tonight for me though was Mario Chalmers. Wow. Welcome back Mario, its nice to have you back. The past 2 games are better than anything from last year. He's the ideal guy to have in the starting lineup, but he really needs to become consistent.

Have you followed Miami at all since 2001? Larry Coker cleaned up the U, not Randy. Coker had the fight, which wasn't a good thing but most of his kids graduated as well. Coker's downfall was bringing in horrible players with terrible attitudes. Now, I love Randy and was a supporter of his for as long as I could because he's a true Cane. But he just wasn't getting the job done on the field. Donna Shalala has made it a point to make academics a top priority, not only that but we don't know how Gruden will do in that category. I imagine he'll do just fine. You can definitely have both at the collegiate level. Love Leavitt as a DC, not a HC. I definitely think he'd be great next to Gruden. Whipple is gone, if Gruden comes in I've heard his brother, Jay, will be the OC. Only coaches who I've heard are possibly safe are DL coach Rick Petri, S&C coach Andreu Swasey and OL coach Jeff Stoutland.

Love mine.
-
No thanks. Only as a OC seeing how he's run that program basically into the ground. More Gruden talk coming now. Apparently he really wants Jim Leavett as his DC which would cost us some more money. Apparently the Dolphins are ponying up some money for the U because of the stadium deal and the money that can be made with Miami being good again. Talks are definitely going on.

The fumble at the goal line was a killer..but they missed that call on the Gonzalez catch. McCarthy gets just as much blame for not challenging it.
-
Dan LeBatard is now saying that Gruden was offered but has said no. We'll see but as of now it looks like Gruden isn't coming. Oh well. Gus Malzahn or Dan Mullen from here. I'll be very, very disappointed if they don't at least interview them.
-
I understand where you're coming from. I guess you just have to post there to know these guys and their info I guess.
-
These guys are money, 99% of the time. They told us about the Shannon dismissal 4 hours before it happened Saturday night and were very consistent with their stuff yesterday. Peter King has no ties to Miami, no inside info when it comes to this program either. Again we'll see but it looks like the admin. is looking to make a big splash with this hire. That alone gives me hope that we'll be good again.

There's only about 5 trusted insiders when it comes to UM, 3 of them post on the Scout boards and yesterday all 3 confirmed that he signed. Not only that, but MNF's "Chalk talk" was canceled today IIRC and there's rumors that Gruden was on campus today around 1PM. We had a press conference scheduled for 2PM today but called it off but no one knows why. Like I said, there's too much smoke here for there not to be any fire.
-
Lots of smoke out there with Gruden. He would've flat out denied it by now if there wasn't mutual interest. I'm not getting my hopes up, but there were more than several trusted UM insiders saying that it was a done deal. If Gruden falls through I think you have to go Gus Malzahn or Dan Mullen.

The rumors about his job are getting to him, its clear as day at this point and that's why you're seeing a change in him. Later on in that same article IIRC there's a quote talking about how he's just not a motivator. He's nitpicking now and that's not what the fans have wanted from him. We want a more open offense and for him to show that he can light a fire under these players. Both of which he hasn't been able to do. -

It also says A LOT that Wade is semi-bashing Spo as well. They were perceived to be very close since early in Dwyane's career. -

He's becoming one of those because of desperation. There's a good type of in your face and a bad one as well. Me thinks this is the bad type because its just not in Spo's nature to be in your face. Regardless, he's lost this team and the move should've been made already. -
If we had traded for Marshawn, we'd be killing it right now but of course we went the cheap route.

Dorell Wright Sinks Nine Three-Pointers
Flash replied to The Lone Granger's topic in Golden State Warriors Team Forum
Neither of them would be doing anything here. Dorell is built for a fast paced team and Beasley was bound to fail here (if you even meant Beasley). -
Well, everything I'm hearing says that its gonna be Gruden and that the deal is already done.
-
Back to the actual topic now. Very interesting news coming form out west that Gruden is off limits from the media this weekend and there's a ton of reports coming out about him and Miami. We'll just have to wait and see now I guess.
-
Miami's student body has a ton of people from out of state and our alumni base is spread out across the country so we really don't have as many alumni in Miami as people think.

5 National Titles, 2 Heisman winners, 35 consensus All-Americans and countless NFL players ain't bad for a school that was irrelevant up until the 80's. Obviously USC has more tradition than Miami, they've been playing for much longer and have won many more games and national titles. No one is debating that lol. That's also a huge part of their attendance as well. How far is the Colosseum from USC's campus?
