Bobby Bowden's and Joe Pa's don't come around very often. He isn't a douche. He did what's best for him. As for the recruits, a lot of those kids went to UT because of Kiffin. Those are kids that he wants to be a part of his program that he's building wherever he's at. I doubt it. He was building that program pretty solid before he left.

In all fairness to the guy, no one thought Pete Carrol would be leaving USC so he thought he was going to be at UT for a while. Its not like he was begging for the job either. They called him about the job and he did what was best for him. USC is the best job in the country IMO.

Melo now but in a year or 2 Durant will take over as the best offensive player in the L. Maybe even the best overall player.

USC struck gold here. Kiffin is a great coach and he'll have a lot less to worry about recruiting wise because he's at USC and not a middle of the road SEC team.
