Eh David Ortiz isn't "Big Papi" anymore without Manny there to save him. His decrease in production isn't a surprise at all. Don't count on Lowell being healthy all year either at this age. Dice-K is done for the season but IIRC he had a terrible beginning to the year. The Yankees were without A-Rod but other than that were relatively healthy. IIRC the only other injuries were to Posada and CC barely injured something against the Marlins. That being said, I got the Yanks. That lineup is unbelievable and will continue to put up great numbers. If their rotation can find consistency then they have to be the favorites to win the series.

Never heard that rumor. I just don't see what they'd want other than Beasley though. It will most likely be JO who gets dealt because of his massive expiring contract along with Cook/Haslem? That takes a lot of our depth but a shot at Boozer would be big. We'd also need to retain Moon and use our MLE on a PF.

Because I was thinking if he were to opt out a ton of teams would be after him. However the Heat gives him a chance to play for a ring alongside his best friend. It's just a thought I mean form everything we've heard he's very happy.

Why wouldn't he be? Chance to win a ring alongside 2 of the best swingmen in the game plus a great young player in Beasley? I'm not claiming it will happen but if I were Riles that's what I would do. However, if we can get Boozer without giving up Beasley then I'm completely for it.

Personally I think we should go after Kevin Durant in 2010. Pair him up with Wade and his boy Beasley and then try and sign Camby for the MLE. PG: Chalmers/Iverson? SG: Wade/Cook SF: Durant/Wright PF: Beasley/Udonis C: Camby/Anthony That's ridiculous.
