Shaq isn't getting double teamed against Dwight Howard or Kendrick Perkins. What you aren't understanding is that Shaq isn't the player he was before. Your concept of Cleveland's offense is totally off right now and yes their offense has to change with Shaq now in the lane. Orlando might have lost Hedo but they got Vince Carter. He's one of those guys that when motivated can be a force and now he's in the situation he's always wanted. Expect a huge year from VC. Also, what has LeBron done to be called the most dominant player? Nothing at all so stop with the blatant homerism. Ever heard of Wilt Chamberlain? MICHAEL JORDAN? The Magic's pick and roll that was so lethal against the Cavs will be even better because now it's Vince Carter instead of Hedo running the pick and roll with Dwight and because Shaq's lack of defensive ability severely hurts Cleveland's pick and roll defense. Rashard Lewis is like 6'11 and he can shoot the lights out as you saw in the ECF. Let's not forget also, Dwight Howard will be a year older and his game is only going to improve and now you throw in a healthy Jameer Nelson and this team is going to be really really good.

Not just that, but he's a big body inside who will go hard every minute and rebound as well. LOVE this signing.

If you were paying attention only one person said those teams would be better. They're the third best team in the East IMO. The Bass signing definitely puts Orlando ahead of them in my opinion.

What are the Cav writers going to say? That he's going to suck? The Nuggets made it just as far as the Cavs last time I checked and are only losing Dahntay Jones. Cleveland will get their wins but as we've seen before they can get 66 and go home empty handed. The Lakers didn't win as many games as the Cavs but they cant home with the big prize. You're vastly overrating Shaq at this point in his career. He isn't the force he once was and is a liability on defense. Dwight made him look stupid this year. Let's be honest, that team wasn't all nothings because McNamara was a 4 star recruit coming out of HS. That team had some good players on it but I agree when the season started I don't think they were the favorites but once it came tournament time it was clear that was the time to beat IMO.

I think Orlando clearly got better today with the signing of Brandon Bass. He's exactly what they need next to Dwight IMO. Now Pietrus can come off the bench and Shard can play the 3.

I was always a fan of Harris and Devendorf was a great player for you guys. It just seems to me that Syracuse hasn't been winning like it should with all the talent on their roster year in and year out. Harris was the 12th overall player on Rivals coming out of HS, Devendorf was 46 overall and Onuaku was a 3 star. So I think there's been plenty of talent there to win in the Big East. When you continuously get classes with 4 and 5 star guys there's no reason you shouldn't be able to compete at a high level. Also, Melo was the top rated SF in his class nd some thought should head straight into the league so I have no idea how you can say people didn't think he was going to be that good.

Miami can offer him the most money and in today's economy I think he'll take the most money he gets. As for Chicago, they have to make that Boozer deal in order to have a chance at signing him. I'm not very worried at all.

Actually, with the lowering cap, Riley has the advantage. Riley is doing what's best for the franchise in this situation. If Wade wants to play hardball then that's what Pat will do.

Riley has already said that he will do whatever it takes to get Wade the pieces he needs to win but how can you do that when you don't have commitment from your franchise player? Riley needs Wade to be here before he possibly trades away the future of our franchise.

I always thought they were good which they were, but championship teams have a certain "aura" about them and I never got that feeling from the Cavs last year. The Lakers had that just like the C's last year and the Heat in 06.

Just saw it at a mid-night premiere. It was hilarious but a lot more crude than Borat. It's fricken awesome though. Not one part was un-funny to me.
