No all it means is that Kobe shut down a point guard who is much tougher to guard so theres good reason to believe that he will have success in guarding Westbrook. Just because something happened in another series doesnt mean it will happen in this one. But we use evidence and facts from what we already know to make hypothesis based on what will happen next. Heres to Boston closing it out tonight. I want them to get into the Finals and not leave any room for a comeback. Plus this means if we beat the Suns we can just set up shop at home and wait for the C's to come to us. Traveling all the way East will be quite scary for us to start the series.

I think hes playing even better then he was last postseason. He is on a mission for sure. Btw I think that Chuck Perons guy really helped him, cause he also played with a broken finger and was still a dominant shooter.

We cant do a God damn thing right on defense. Cant defend individually, cant guard shooters, cant guard pick and roll, cant keep them off the free throw line, cant get a [expletive]ing rebound!

This is sad, Kobe has to carry us and make impossible shots against the zone then we come back down at the other end and either commit a foul or give them a wide open look with very poor defense. This is just like 2006 all over again . Except Kwame, Smush, Cook, and Mihm could play better defense then these scrubs right now. This will be a nice game for Kobe's legacy should we win, we should be down 20 right now especially with how awful our bench has played.

I completely agree, Kobe and Artest on defense are the two biggest reasons we have an advantage against them. Fish wont be a liability either, hes our best guard at running through screens, and he is the best in the league at selling the moving screen call, which is something the Celtics do quite often. Fish usually keeps Allen in check so im not worried about that. If KG becomes their first option then they are in a lot of trouble. KG got easy buckets against Jamison in the post, hes been terrible against Rashard Lewis so far and he wont get anything against Pau. On offense Boston will have to double Kobe if they have any chance at stopping us. They dont have Posey this time, who is probably one of the toughest defenders Kobe has had to face in his career. Boston might have to double Pau as well. Sheed vs Odom is also a big advantage for us. Sheed cant put the ball on the floor at all, hes strictly a spot shooter now, and he cant guard Odom off the dribble, Sheed can only play post defense. I like all the matchups for us against Boston, plus we would have home court if we faced them.

Im not a big fan of this deal either. Bosh is pretty bad on defense and when you have Pau-Bosh as your two main guys defensively then its going to be a struggle. Plus then Pau becomes our only center. With Drew we have flexibility and we can rotate Bynum/Pau at the center position plus use Odom for a lot of minutes as well. If we got Bosh we would be a powerhouse offensive team no question about it, but our defense would be average and we wouldnt have any depth. Pau is a good defender but I would not want him having to play defense on the opposing teams best big man every night. However Bynum doesnt do much good when he commits stupid fouls and spends the whole game on the bench, not to mention how injury prone he is. I would consider this deal just based on the fact that Bynum is such a failure and has a terrible attitude.

No offense but I dont think you guys will win game 5. Jameer had a couple lucky 3's there at the end, and the Celtics just ran out of gas. Plus the Magic got to a lot of 50/50 loose balls that got them easy uncontested buckets, not to mention JJ carrying you guys. However, the biggest thing you have to look forward to is Dwight. If he keeps playing like that the Magic will not get blown out like they have been in this series.

Celtics just wear down as the game rolls on, their 4th quarter play has been pretty bad almost all playoffs. Why is that?

I liked it. Then again I like any movie that keeps my interest throughout, this movie did that.

Seeing how much the Celtics rely on Pierce for offense encourages me. He wont get nearly this kind of production against tru warrior.

I hope the Celtics just get it over with so we can get the 08 Finals rematch started. If the Magic win this game they will most likely push it to 6 and if that happens then the Finals start date would be pushed back to June 3rd. If both LA and Boston win in 5 or less then the Finals start June 1st.

I agree Gasol > KG. I also agree that Pierce is a better player then Artest because of his scoring ability. But when matched up against each other Artest shuts him down so their production is pretty equal. But the difference is Pierce is the 1st/2nd option for the Celtics while Artest is pretty far down on the Lakers list.

We cant have Gasol playing 45+ minutes again. If we spread the minutes around then whoever is in can be fresh.

Bynum cant have stupid fouls this game. As long as he plays 15-25 solid minutes I like our chances.
