  1. Artest. Hes a rare type of player and fits perfectly with us. He can score on his own, great shooter, can play from the post, physical player, and can shut down any SF in the league.
  2. Link Soooo, haters. Ron still gonna jack up shots like u thought?
  3. Thats not real is it. Oh and
  4. Yeah and Kobe actually gets cheered in some of those places you pointed out. Lebron doesnt get that reception on the road. Thats when you know Kobe is the face of the NBA, when he is loved all over and gets MVP chants wherever he goes. And internationally its no contest Kobe is more liked. People are in denial.
  5. How is Kobe more polarizing then Lebron?
  6. What if Perkins plays the same amount of minutes as last year and Sheed just plays the minutes Perkins doesnt play?
  7. Boston : 1-1 Cleveland : 2-0 Magic : 1-1 Spurs : 3-1
  8. I think theyll lose on opening night against the Celtics. The C's are stronger and healthier, and I think Lebron and Shaq wont mesh well at first, but possibly could play well together down the road. And besides, you guys are going to get at least one loss because the Lakers play at least once in Cleveland. You should know this by now.
  9. Mike Sciosia. Talk about doing more with less, wow. Won a world series, multiple division titles, etc. Not one guy on his world series team that you could say "hes a hall of fame player for sure." Francona on the other hand, has had Manny, juiced Ortiz, Beckett. Torre had a hall of fame roster with the Yankees. Manuel has an all star lineup. Sciosia had one all star (1 per team is required anyway) on his team when he won a title. Vladimir Guerrero was the only all star on the Angels when we won all those division titles.
  10. Hmm I like the list but the interchangeable stuff is weak. And I think Pau should be 3rd, because he actually plays defense, and is a dominant post player. While Dirk doesnt play defense, and is pretty much one dimensional, hes a shooter.
  11. Kobe also gets MVP chants everywhere he goes, even in the Boston garden. And hes the only person to get it in Madison Square Garden, when Lebron showed up a week later he didnt get anywhere near the same reception. Just sayin.
  12. Wow psychic huh, can u tell me if the world will end in 2012?
  13. Nahh the Yankees arent as good. Angels have scored 679 (1st in MLB) compared to the Yankees 664. NOT TO MENTION that launching pad the Yankees play in, so their numbers are highly inflated. Angels batting average is also 13 points higher then the Yankees.
  14. Nah dude you got it twisted. Kobe is more loved world wide. He got the most love in China during the olympics, and his jersey sales are the highest in China. When you think of the NBA you think of Kobe because hes the world champion and hes probably the most fun to watch right now. Maybe its just where im from because Kobe is loved in so cal, but im sure all over the country hes the most popular, and hes definitely the most popular world wide. I dont think its any contest who foreign NBA fans like most, its Kobe.
  15. Nah man I think it could work. From what Shaq is saying, it sounds like he really wants to come back and redeem himself. He knows we have a good thing going here and he can get another ring in for sure if he plays well here. He will have to understand hes a backup before he signs here, if he gets that it could work. As far as him coming off the bench, and how they fastbreak a lot I think that can change. This doesnt have to be a fast breaking 2nd unit Farmar Brown (or Sasha) Walton (or Ammo) Odom Shaq thats a very good bench, and you could throw in a starter in there as well sometimes like Artest. We could definitely slow it up and run some triangle in that, cause we have Shaq in the post and Odom as well. They will only be going up against other 2nd units, that lineup should be able to dominate any teams bench in the league. Plus he would have to take a pay cut like the Vets minimum, and a short contract. Its a long shot but its possible
  16. Cmon B. Bury the hatchet. Waddaya say We can even bring in Raja Bell
  17. Link I hope he comes back, a lot of people would be pissed off
  18. The poll is only for elite duos on elite teams. I was gonna add Melo and Billups at first, but I didnt wanna break the perimeter player big men trend
  19. This is crazy listen to this LA Times Angels lineup as of right now Figgins - .310, 93 runs scored, 37 stolen bases, .403 OBP Abreu - .313, 11 home runs, 80 RBIs, 25 stolen bases, .406 OBP Rivera - .312, 19 home runs, 67 RBIs, .519 SLG% Guerrero - .309, 10 home runs (injured for a while) Morales - .304, 26 home runs, 76 RBIs, .579 SLG% Hunter - .305, 17 home runs, 67 RBIs (injured for a while) Izturis - .300, 7 home rus, 10 stolen bases Napoli - .300, 16 home runs, 45 RBIs, .906 OPS Aybar - .313, 5 home runs, 11 stolen bases That lineup is crazy!
  20. You know who should get him. The Spurs. Imagine Parker/Ginobli/RJ/Boozer/Duncan. Wont happen though, Jazz wouldnt make the Spurs that good cause their in the same conference, and Spurs have nobody to trade.
