Someone needs to tell Lebron and Dwade that there are other shots besides 3s
-
lol just saw that he's 5 foot 6. there's no way someone who could star in snow white be considered the best athlete in the world.
And yet he's probably more skilled and faster than any of the muscle bound idiots, who's cards you collect.

Bros before Hoes. [expletive] guys who aren't like that.

Lmao its a conspiracy! At least you've been consistent with your obsession all season.
Unlike the refs

That's just it - joining the Celtics is never a good option.
Joining the team with the most championships in NBA history...... ok. Comes from the fan of the team with a curse.

Just putting this out there. I'm pretty sure this was yet another travel in crunch time.

If we're talking just pure atheltic talent, I'm taking LBJ, Dwight Howard and Vernon Davis.
Throw in Cristiano Ronaldo, dude is incredibly fast and yet strong.
-
Nate Robinson is, can play multiple sports and thrive.
He logged like 0 minutes in the playoffs
Flash- It's a toss up of Bolt and Messi like I said before.
-
I don't think lkr knows what best ATHLETE means. It doesn't mean who's been dominant in their sport the longest, it means who has the most pure athleticism. Tiger is an absolute tank, but he isn't as athletically gifted as 75% of players in the NFL.
This thread isn't judging pure athleticism either or else the top decathlon athlete would win imo. We are arguing about who is the best at their respective sport.
-
what about Phelps? if the decade argument is moot, then throw Djokovic and Nadal in there. Of course the whole thing is dumb because you can't compare different sports. Bill Simmons says stupid stuff all the time
Phelps is up there, but he only dominates every 4 years, don't really hear much about swimming lately. As of NOW Messi is probably the most dominant athlete. He has probably won everything besides the World Cup. As much as I hate to say it, Barcelona and Messi are going to be very, very good for years.
-
I know that Messi hasn't been hands down the most dominate soccer player for the past decade. I know that people are still debating whether he is the clear cut best in his sport right now.
Djokovic hasn't even dominated the sport for the past decade, so the decade argument is pretty flawed. Messi/Bolt are the winners in this thread. Lebron still has so many holes in his game while Messi is practically flawless these days. I don't really watch much football/baseball so I can't argue those.

^Talking about New Jersey right? After my soccer game which was a night game also, I felt like I was coming out of the shower. So humid.
-
I don't see the point if you have Blake Griffin already.
Throw a ball up near the hoop and someone is bound to dunk it.
-
It wasn't his call............. maybe it wasn't his idea, but he had the right to say no because it wouldn't have been morally correct. His friends are just trying to cover his ass up right now. It was wrong and everyone's gotten over it except the bitter Cleveland fans.

brown parents don't ground their kids..haha.
My parents were supposed to ground me for 6 weeks, cracked Day 2 lmao.
-
And proceeded to get shat on, what's your point?
Took them to 6 games, let's see if Miami can top that.
-
You can't beat the Celtics in 5 games and be soft. Maybe you're confusing us with the Hawks?
We beat Chicago in Game 1 .
-
You seem mad.
But that's life. Hated before respected. Kind of like Van Gogh. It takes a while for the rest to catch up.
That's why I don't get repped. At least not repped by the more active posters when my opinion differs too far from the norm. I'm not popular at this stage. I'm outcasted for being different, when the difference is simply a measure of capacity.
This is more directed towards my views, my opinions, my creations. I could have been wrong in my predictions by chance, like say, an injury. Anyway, I have no reason for my ego to inflate. This stuff happens all the time. I just don't bother to point it out as much as I should. When my ego will really inflate is once I talk to NBA team executives about some stats I have invented and will invent, after I get them patented of course.
Edit: And of course your post gets repped lol.
Compare yourself to an artistically inclined genius? Honestly man your post quality is very high and you have 183 rep which is no meager total. I respect you, but you can get so obnoxious with your obsession with being right and showing off about your new scoring system (which had several flaws I didn't point out).
So good luck in your exploits with NBA executives, but at the end of the day you know you'll log back onto OTR.

6 posts got rep points. All posts in this thread already incorrect except mine. I deserve at least 6 rep points.
You get a couple of predictions right and your ego completely inflates, go crawl back under your rock and watch the WNBA with the other 6 viewers.

Atlanta
We beat Orlando, gave Chicago a fight and when Jeff Teague develops into a star we'll get even better. Good job this postseason guys.

Bulls closed and we went back to iso-offense, good effort Hawks, lets take it at the Phillips Arena.
