Chris Mortenson wrote on his twitter last night that chances are "60-40, maybe higher" that Osi is dealt on draft day... If someone falls to the 2nd that the Giants like, I can see Osi being moved for the Rams 2nd rounder, 1st in the round. Osi played his best football under Spags.

Texas Rangers @ New York Yankees (4/16-4/18)

Teixeira in April is embarrassing. -
Diesel would have gotten his scrawny, loud mouthed, idiotic [expletive] kicked wayyyyy before the vomit came. Probably in the parking lot pre-game.

lol that's the ultimate burn

Also, banners of McGrady, Curry, and Marbury please.

Well, they're 23rd in runs, 28th in starter ERA, 19th in HR, 20th in SLG%, etc. A lot is remedied by Beltran's return, but I also think they need a definite upgrade over Jacobs at 1B. That kid from ST is tearing it up in AAA from what I've heard. Washburn would be a nice signing, I can agree with that.
-
The Yankees can afford to spend so much because they've built and empire off of winning. If the Yankees didn't assemble the teams that they have throughout history, do you think anyone would give a [expletive] around the country? I'm just saying that the Mets FO needs to do more to win. If I were a Mets fan, I'd be chronically depressed. I have it with the Rangers and the Knicks, so I know how it feels... I just don't think you should settle.
-
I didn't compare the Mets to the Nationals, I compare your comment to the situation of any other team in the league. Obviously if you say "if our flaws are fixed, we'll make the playoffs" it has a reasonable chance of happening... But I am pointing out that any team in the league can say the same exact thing.

Seriously? Everything I've said is a counterpoint to what you say... you grasped for something to attempt to take away my credibility on the subject. Do you really not see how those two are worlds different? The Mets can't win because they don't have the talent, leadership, or pitching to do so... and because the Phillies are completely superior. If EVERYTHING goes right, they'll scrap for a wild card spot. But they'll likely fall short of that when all is said and done.
-
That's all you can come up with? Hating on Posada and Rodriguez deals? Really? You have honestly got to be kidding me. If you said Pavano, I'd give that to you. But your two focal points are two of the biggest cogs of the team and two guys who were absolute pivotal points of a championship last year? GTFO.
-
Find the right league next year, my league has no bench or DL spot, you don't have to change anything unless someone gets hurt and you want to pick up a guy to fill his spot.

When you start reaching and flailing for something unrelated, I know I've already won. Oops.
