Billups Might Be A Trade Chip As Well
La Bomba replied to La Bomba's topic in Denver Nuggets Team Forum
That deal wouldn't make any sense at all for the Nuggets. They want to get picks and players they can build around when they trade Carmelo. They don't get that with that deal. It's foolish to even think the Nuggets would give that deal a chance. -
Grizzlies will make the playoffs this year with the acquisition of Tony Allen, mark my words. We still need to sign Henry, but I don't think he'll be key to our playoff chances.

Never go. [expletive] paying 10 dollars to see something I can just watch on Netflex a couple months later.

I know I will be called a homer, but a really think this guy has a chance to be an All-American candidate and a lottery pick. I love his skill set. Few players at 6'9 have the ability to play 4 positions. Quick first step, improving jump shot, and the ability to penetrate. Plus, he's long and quick enough to guard multiple positions. He does not excel in any attribute, but he also does not really have a glaring weakness ether. He now has a point guard with the ability to penetrate and find open teammates in the perimeter and more reliable big men compared to last year. Depending on how he adapts to his new teammates, I think he has a chance to really get in the national spotlight.

Anthony, Nuggets look ready to part ways

The NBA has lost all it's creditability. It's all about big markets and big money. Oklahoma City is our last chance to see a small market team win a championship. The group of players San Antonio and Oklahoma City have built are rare. -
Do you think in the next few years the D-League could have an impact on high school players who don't qualify academically for college basketball? Will Barton looked like he was going to the D-League until he finally got cleared and Latavious Williams went to the D-League last season when he wasn't academically eligible. I can see players going to the D-League over Europe because in Europe, unless the player is really special, young guys don't get much playing time unless they fit the European system, which is much slower and shooting oriented.

I read somewhere that the organizer of this said he would be more than willing to build the mosque somewhere else, and if there is another area he would take it. The Christians can protest all they want, but it's the Muslim's constitutional right to build this mosque wherever they please. If this were a huge Southern Baptist Church this would not be a big deal, but since the Muslim community has a couple of airheads, their entire religion is unfairly judged.

Every single year Barcelona is in the easiest group. I really can't complain about Real Madrid's group though. For the most part, the groups aren't that bad for the favorites. I would say the best is Group A.

I really wonder how Kid's statistics would of been if he played in a system like the Sun's. Without putting that into consideration I would still take Kidd. He has not been as good of a scorer as Nash, but he's arguably the best rebounding point guard of all time and lightyears better on defense. He's on par with Nash in terms of assists and running an offense.

Defense 11 vs. 11 is fun, I agree. The thing with being a goalkeeper is the lack of action you get if you're playing with a good defense.
-
This sounds boring if you ask me. If your playing as a goalkeeper for a defensive team than you're not going to get much action. It's a nice addition, but not one I'm going to use.

Here's my own list, by the way: 1. Gasol 2. Dirk 3. Duncan 4. Amare 5. Bosh 6. Randolph 7. Boozer 8. Josh Smith 9. Garnett 10. Love

I think he can still do something about his image. If Zach Randolph did, others certainly can to. I'm just not sure how many winning teams want to take a chance with him now.

Dabearfan101 Or SumtiNSpecial

Dabearsfan is less annoying and his posts are usually more than a half a line or a stupid picture. Sumtinspecial gets my vote for most pointless poster.
