Talks around New Orleans are that the New Orleans Hornets want to either trade Chris Kaman on draft night or resign him long term. Take into consideration the Hornets draft pick, the Minnesota Timberwolves pick paired with Kaman and he could fetch a pretty penny. Chris is averaging 13 points and eight rebounds on a depleted New Orleans roster that has been basically going through him all year. His production is the reason why contending teams like the Boston Celtics and the Miami Heat are interested in him. In this upcoming NBA draft there are a lot of options; pair the potential of drafting one of those guys to play alongside Kaman on the Hornets, or on the contending team that he and one of those picks are traded to, and that teams front court looks majorly improved. With a NBA Commissioner like David Stern I am very interested to see how all of this pans out.

Jose Calderon is not a bad player though by any means. I understand from a business point this move; Ramon Sessions' defense gives the Lakers flexibility to run a two guard set with KB at the two or three occasionally, and it gives the Lakers longevity at the point guard position for after number 24 retires. You got to take the good with the bad, players get traded everyday and since KB seems ok with it the front office definitely made the right move. Moves like this are why the Lakers remain on top and I have nothing but respect and admiration for thier organization.

The Lakers just went 7 - 2 after the all star break with Derek Fisher; Steve Nash is 38 an arguably the best point gaurd in the league while Jason Kidd just won a championship around that same tender age of 38. I just do not understand all the hype around Ramon Sessions, both he and Fisher average nearly the same production in the same amount of minutes played.

The problem with this idea is that the New Orleans Hornets would never trade Chris Kaman for Kwame Brown and Brandon Rush.

Yeah... All of the regulation talk and SOPA seem to be politically based; the presidential election is coming up soon and it will be interesting to see what sides of this issue they take.

I honestly just thought that Derek Fisher should have been able to retire a Los Angelas Laker; though the NBA is a business first and the fact that the Lakers got potential value for the future is impressive.

Happy for the San Antonio Spurs, good pickup; now if they can somehow reduce minutes played by their starters, to prevent injuries, the Spurs would be golden.

The Nuggets are really shaping up into a nice team.

Despite the Lakers acquiring Ramon Sessions I think trading Derek Fisher was a dumb move; the chemistry that Fisher and Kobe Bryant has is not coach-able. No one even knows if Session's will even work out playing a long side Bryant.

Interesting that Gerald Wallace and Marcus Camby got traded a long with the firing of Nate McMilan.

The Nets now have a very interesting frontcourt of Gerald Wallace and Kris Humphries.

I would transition back to the game plan when Amare Stoudemire was the, "center," and leader of this team. All the offense has to go through him as when it did the Knicks seemed most successful.

A.R.Test has come a far distance from his Pacer's days; he seems to be so mentally tough.

Despite what James L. Dolan may be doing Mike Dantoni gets paid to coach and if he can not cover the bill he should be replaced.
