Raptors 2012 Summer League Roster

No Valanciunas? -
PJIII was my favorite player in College, and I can't wait to see what team grabs him and how much he will improve. Teams passing on him because he was forced to impersonate a center at Baylor, will regret it. The kid has as much upside as a wing could possibly have - 6'11" with ridiculous athleticism and a smooth shooting stroke. Compared to Kevin Durant as an being tall, who can shoot and dribble and athletic. Are you kidding me? It's insane that he's not universally considered a top five pick, and I do know why he isn't. he's way too soft, shies away from contact in the paint. You damn right he does because he isn't a PF nor C, SF is his true position. He is more comfortable with the ball in his hands facing the basket than he did backing down a defender in the paint. He needs to work on his motor though. PJIII is going to be great.

I think it's a legit move honestly for GSW as well. I mean, if Bogut can get back healthy the GSW gets their Center that they been needing. Bogut has to make a comeback in order to make this trade be good. You still got Curry, Lee, Wright and Thompson though I don't think he's not quite ready to start but he has slowly but surely adjusted to the NBA game and has a better grasp on how to get his shots. Great basketball IQ, plus he's 6'7, a good size for the NBA 2-guard position. And he's a pure shooter. He can only get better. Jackson could eventually start, but you have to think Thompson, who started on Tuesday, will get the job initially. He was already playing well, and is worth a pickup if you need a shooting guard. He's improving every game too. He has his weaknesses though like his defense but Monta Couldn't play defense either so. I think this trade is good for both IMO.

I knew when Ricky came to the NBA he was going to be great, and I was excited to watch him play, he was one of the reasons I wanted the lockout to end so I can finally watch him play, hell even when he was still in Spain after he got drafted by Minn, took him a while to come here but glad he did come. A lot of people doubted him, but I knew he was going to be something special when he came to the NBA . I hope Ricky has a speedy and successful recovery.
