They wouldn't have Rondo, Big Baby, Perkins, and some other key role players that have helped them. I think that would have hurt them a lot against the Spurs and Lakers who were complete in their runs(first run for the Lakers). They would have won another title or two for sure though, I don't know what to say about HOF though. KG was definitely at an all star level at that point in his career. I think he would have won an MVP award, he would have won it in 2008 if it wasn't for the Gasol trade to LA. I don't know if the 2008 version of the Celtics was better than some of the other champions from earlier in the decade either.

I guess I'll have to learn to enjoy hockey. Maybe the NFL will add Tuesday Night Football or something as well

Raheem Morris and McCarthey's jobs are DEFINITELY not in any jeopardy right now. I did a lot of hating on McCarthey earlier in the season, but he has won me back. I don't see how you could put Morris or McCarthey on that list and not Eric Mangini either. But what Morris has done in Tampa Bay is fantastic. They went from worst to first, if you really think he'll get canned for that, then I'm not sure if we see eye to eye.

Just because LOTR is a blockbuster doesn't mean it is bad. You are insinuating that smaller movies are better because they usually have better storylines, which for the most part, can be true. However, LOTR didn't just win a best picture award for being a blockbuster. Most blockbusters don't win that award, because they are not that great of movies in comparison to some. You are judging something you haven't even tried. I'm going to say all of your movies don't interest me at all even though I haven't given them a shot. you don't know if you like something UNTIL you try it.
