  1. With what happened in the 2006 Finals with Wade and the Heat, that free throw discrepancy just leads me to believe that the Heat were given a ring...and that's wicked, because that means Shaq has two rings he earned. Ouch.

Wade attacked the basket harder than anyone has ever done. He earned his trips to the line. Notice no mention of the 2006 Heat-Mavs series in the article. Just because the Heat were the aggressors, and got Dallas in the penalty doesn't mean they were handed the series. Just because LA was given a Finals appearence in 2002 doesn't mean a team you despised such as the 2006 Heat were given a title too.

And Sky it's one possession no matter if it's at the end of the game or not. Wouldn't make a difference if they blew a call during the final play or a play during the middle of the 2nd quarter. Just like the Shaq fouls were one or two blown calls. (I'd like to see the fouls on Shaq actually too since I don't remember any that blatantly bad.)

  2. I like how Sky only focuses on one possession that was blown in the one game and some bad calls on Shaq in the other game.

While Game 6 was full of tons of calls the ENTIRE game. Not just a one or two time occurence which is bound to happen with humans.

Stars in the NBA get special treatment, and the Lakers were handed a game in the series in 2002. Tim Donaghy has no reason to lie and I believe what he is saying.

  3. I didn't see much of it other than the first quarter in which Philly looked pretty good IMO. Lou seemed to be doing very good at the point guard and Dalembert was even OK aside from a few retarded shots. Obviously something happened in the 2nd half though which wasn't good. My friend told me the Magic did their usual three point storm and were really hot.

I'm curious as to how many people in Philadelphia watched this with the Phillies on lol

  4. Well, there are some rumors floating around that Rip Hamilton could be traded. I wonder if Cleveland would be willing to put something together to try and get him, even though their season just started. He would be a great fit in Cleveland.

I can see Mike Redd getting traded too. Both of them are similar players that would be great fits in Cleveland.

The Cavs should trade Big Z for an athletic guy up front as well. I don't think the Shaq/Big Z combo is going to work at all. Udonis Haslem was an example of a great guy to have next to Shaq. With Big Z expiring someone might be willing to give up a nice talent.

  5. Good to see that steroid taking small balls Rashard Lewis suspended for this one. I think they should test that whole team to be honest.

Sixers could possibly steal one. Shard and Hedo were the ones that gave them the most trouble last year and both of them will not be available. Brand looked good in the preseason and I'm interested to see how he works in the Princeton Offense. Vince Carter won't be that much of a problem. Not much of an upgrade over Courtney Lee honestly.

I'm not saying the Sixers will win, but they definetly got a nice shot without Shard.

  6. lol @ the people [expletive]ing about Bron "settling for threes". He got to the line 13 times in the game, shot 12-22 from the field, and 4-9 from downtown. 4-9 from three point is a very good percentage and when he is making them I don't see why anyone should have a problem with him taking that shot.

  7. Mike Brown had some weird lineups on the floor tonight. Looks like he's still trying to find out what works and what doesn't. Hmmm.

And Shaq didn't stop LeBron from driving either. LeBron was getting to the FT line at will in the 2nd half with Shaq on the floor.

And KG looked pretty bad IMO. He had two missed open dunks in this game alone. He looked a lot slower as well.

  8. But they're in your divison...just doesn't really make sense.

Ah, I love the fact how me and Waldo haven't baited, but we're still considered obnoxious/arrogant. While some other fans have done nothing but bait and Yankees fans are still considered scum. Ironic.

No one is talking about you or Waldo. It's the fact that there are dumb Yankees fans in every part of the country that couldn't tell you their line-up. And they are complete morons. It's not the Yankee fans on this site specifically, but the ones we have to deal with off of the computer that make us hate the Yankees even more.

I didn't like the Yankees in 2003. What an idiotic post based on the fact that I just don't want your Phillies to win the series. Alex went to New York in 2004. Big fail on your part...again.

Are you aware of Alex Rodriguez'z steroid allegations? The man is a cheater and a disgrace to the game.
