  1. LeBron played like a facilitator far too long. I don't understand how at any point during the final stretch he didn't feel like he had to be 100X's more aggressive on the offensive end. Bosh cooled off after that excellent first half, if you are LeBron you have to realize that and take a much more aggressive stance on the offensive end to compensate. It's a mysterious performance by him. Even great players have bad nights, no one is perfect but tonight it looked like he had a plan and stuck with it no matter what the circumstance was. 8 points in unacceptable from him, no ones asking for 30 but you gotta put up at least 16-18 along with the near triple double numbers. I hate the Mavs, but I do have major respect for Dirk. He's taken his game and attitude to an incredible level and you gotta respect that no matter what. I am just mystified at how timid LeBron played. It's one game and I don't think anyone would be surprised if he came back the next game and lit it up... but none the less it's all squared up now.
  2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=i3jTaT3pYFE I will always remember this sequence by Tmac. When he tries/healthy.... man he was fun to watch.
  3. Pretty cool vids Nitro forgot how he still had some dominant performances at that age. The obligatory: http://i297.photobucket.com/albums/mm233/lebronze23/lol-wut.jpg
  4. http://i297.photobucket.com/albums/mm233/lebronze23/lollll-1.jpg Lol ruthless
  5. Wow I just watched the video and I love the Twitter integration I use that like crazy, and I really like the new notification style. Instead of it bombarding your screen and putting everything on pause it just kinda works like the ESPN score bar, love that idea. Cant wait to get this upgrade on my phone and iPad.
  6. I wish anton chigurh was after you

  7. loll im done its a morning class you old hobo

  8. HEAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  9. ^ Ya that's insane... I love this scene, I think it's just creepy. The setting, the situation and then the final shot at the end to stop the human from "squirming" one of those scenes I always remember when ever I think of Collateral. I can think of many others but I recently saw Collateral again on TV and Tom Cruises character is just a crazy looking dude. It's not the "mos imposin" scene ever made but it's ruthless as hell.
  10. It sounded like the generic response after a comeback lol. All valid points no doubt. Again IMO I didn't think it was that big of a deal what Wade did, but it works both ways while the opponent may feel offended the home team had the obvious reaction. That's kinda my logic on it, it cancels each other out. Both sides had basic human reaction to the situation, I just don't buy keying in on that one play as a big story to the final outcome the way the media did. But interesting to hear the other end of it lol I can understand why it can be considered a bigger deal than I think it is now.
  11. A Bruce Almighty mention finally nice.
  12. LOL that is such a great scene, just bursts into the door with so much. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fla9FxpZPLc This video is pretty epic I laugh so hard when I see this.
  13. Well i'm not a hardcore Miami fan you know what team I root for lol but I thought he meant that these kinds of distractions happen all the time, do they really fuel the fire that much? I guess it depends how you see it from an impact standpoint they all seem like basic distractions to me.
  14. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dyKh4qXMNlE OMG where is the media on this fiasco! Little coach disturbed his shot and that's what motivated Chalmers shot to go in!
  15. I think this will be a cool idea, with basketball nearing a close this could be a fun way to discuss some of our favorite movies, I also hope people participate each week. :glasses: Jim Carrey is an amazing actor, his classics far outweigh his recent stuff but at the end of the day you walk out of the theater happy after watching his movies, just seems like he was born to do this. My top 5 1. http://i297.photobucket.com/albums/mm233/lebronze23/dumbanddumber.jpg Absolutely love Dumb and Dumber, they play this movie all the time on TBS and that's just fine with me I always catch myself repeating it, such a quotable movie. 2. http://i297.photobucket.com/albums/mm233/lebronze23/liarliar.jpg Liar Liar accomplishes so much between comedy, lies, and truth. At the end of it all it's such a relatable story for a busy parent who loves his kid but never really has a chance to show it because of work. Lying is just easier.... 3. http://i297.photobucket.com/albums/mm233/lebronze23/themask.jpg http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xSlkO41Y9I4 I love the mask it brings back memories for me. I used to watch this all the time when I was little. It's a funny story and only Jim could really bring out the comedy in that character. BTW Cameron Diaz has never looked hotter, she isn't a stick in this movie, she's actually got curves in all the right places :glasses: 4. http://i297.photobucket.com/albums/mm233/lebronze23/eternal.jpg http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e5Y2MandRso I had to pick one oddball out of all this, and Eternal is the one. Excellent film still has its doses of comedy all around impressive acting by Jim. 5. http://i297.photobucket.com/albums/mm233/lebronze23/memyself.jpg http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IZoF93EJvbU Lol Jims craziest role IMO too funny to not appreciate. I am not a huge fan of this film but it is a memorable role that Jim plays, Oliver summed it up well, I mean seriously who could play this role so well other than Jim it's insane.
  16. Here comes your daily dose of Hangover news. I just hope that the script is significantly different, I'm not opposed to a third these guys are very funny as a cast, but a twist of originality would be a welcoming thing. http://www.irishcentral.com/ent/Hangover-Part-3-to-be-made-in-Dublin-123095493.html
  17. Ya during the press conference the main question that kept getting brought up was the whole "celebration" thing. That kind of became the focal point of the post game discussion instead of how the Heat actually blew the game, or how the Mavs made a triumphant comeback either spin you want to go with. I agree celebrating in front of the opposing teams bench will light a fire under any opponents ass, but that common celebration that occurs so often in professional sports suddenly become more relevant than the rest of the mistakes the Heat made. I look at it as just an accessory to the bigger picture, it shouldn't be the focal point of anything it's just a potential wake up call but it's not headline worthy.
  18. ^ Agreed that does make me feel better, because I don't think McHale handling this himself is possible. I like that the coaching staff will be sharing the wealth and have specialists for certain situations that makes the most sense.
  19. 100% agree this makes no sense. It's kinda like Wilbon put it the other day, if you need a taunt of some sort to wake you up and play motivated you have some serious motivation issues lol. Where was the Mavs "effort" before that? I mean after all it is the finals! It's like saying if Wade didn't stand and appreciate that "dagger" at that point and time the Mavs would have never woken up? I mean is that the basis for a team that's losing... to not wake up until another player celebrates in front of there bench? I just don't get that logic. Wade did exactly what any player would have done when making a big shot, he celebrated, I find calling out the Heat's effort much more realistic than saying Wade's celebration is responsible for the final outcome.
  20. I really think the media was stretching when they tried to make this whole "celebration" thing a big deal. I know all the Mavs said it motivated them and what else do you expect them to say, but honestly the Heat gave up. They stopped playing, they looked like a squad who was in the business of taking time off the clock instead of playing basketball. Not trying to take a lot away from the Mavs but the Heat collapsed and fell asleep at the wheel. Players celebrate like this all the time, and it's the finals what do you expect? I mean that three really did seem like the dagger the Heat were trying to find the whole game. The way the game was going it seemed like it was only a matter of time till the Heat sealed it away, but to go as far as to say that particular celebration suddenly changed things significantly... I don't buy that lol.
  21. Good luck with everything man, take care of yourself.
