  2. I think the Jazz usually play Welcome to the Jungle to begin the game. Not sure, though. Various different songs are played at timeouts that I don't remember which is our main one, but in crunchtime it is The Final Countdown.
  3. But by the way, I don't think this needs to be pinned any more..
  4. I agree with all except I'm not sure about Aaron Brooks. Expound? I think Ray is the most pure shooter in the game. You still got Peja, Nash and I'd like to believe that Memo wins out of the centers.
  5. Dang it, it's over. Didn't even get to watch any on the computer because the TV's free league pass preview was at the same time. Don't think I'm gonna buy the full version and streaming usually sucks. Darn.
  6. They decide who gets the ball first and it has always been that way so why change it? I think it could play a slight role in momentum if you start off the 4th quarter quick, but it's just like any other possession. I would say the overtime tipoff is quite important though.

  12. Welcome to the forum. But remember what I told you. Don't do anything stupid or I'm not letting you back at RSZ.
  13. Ah, there's so many that come to mind..... Top tier rookies(obviously Wall, Griffin, Turner but I'm hoping for a Favors/Cousins rivalry) Miami Big 3(duh) Tyreke Evans(Nearly as good a rookie season as Lebron, can he progress? Plus..fantasy team represent!) Al Jefferson/Gordon Hayward(Excited to see how they fare here) Adam Morrison(Hopefully he ends up somewhere) Steve Nash(I think he got overrated last year. Seeing if he proves me wrong.) DeMar Derozan, Jrue Holiday, Anthony Randolph, Kevin Love(Breakout time!) Shaqtus Amare Agent 0
  14. Impressive. But the statline as a whole wasn't ridiculous-as all he did was hit free throws. But that much in 14 minutes is impressive nonetheless And lol at him also having 5 fouls. It was a physical game.
  15. Lately, most of my conversations at lunch time with my friends revolve around sports. Basically all my good friends follow some sport or another, usually all. There are some casual fans but if one of my few friends has no clue about any sports(yah, I'd say there's a couple out there) I guess we usually find something else to discuss.
  16. Magic and Bird. I like that Wilt and Russ were thrown and they can make a case for 2nd but IMO it's Bird and Magic by a long shot. I don't think Lebron and Wade should be mentioned, even before they joined forces. They never really battled it out hardcore, never really met in the playoffs and combined they boast a total of one ring. On the other hand, first of all, Magic and Bird would not have joined together, even given the opportunity because they were so focused on beating the other. They had countless good battles and every time the Lakers/Celtics met, something big was about to go down, and they faced each other in the Finals more than any other rivalry. It even dates back to college so how can you not go with these guys.
  17. Mm unfortunately no. But I could run a redraft? And by the way, can someone tell me if we have a link that would bring me to 'New Posts'?
  18. We gonna get one here? Thanks for inviting me. I will. p.s: I don't normally post this much smilies.
  19. Let me start out by saying that preseason means different things to different teams. The Lakers aren't really trying to win. They're trying to develop young players. The Jazz are trying to mesh their new roster together and develop their bench. The Grizzlies are more trying to compete. With that being said, I know that our preseason success doesn't mean everything but I have liked the way that we've played. Al Jefferson creates a better matchup by far than Boozer ever did and I've liked what I've seen from our young guys. It is true that the Jazz are constantly flying under the radar. I've seen the Jazz get placed 8th too many times than I can bear in prediction threads and occasionally some say they won't even make the playoffs! Maybe I'm a homer but I think this is for sure a Top 5 team. I like us better than last year.
  20. Year You Became a Fan: 1998 Why You Became a Fan: Hometown. First game I went to. My family did. Favorite Jazz Player, All-Time: John Stockton Favorite Jazz Coach, All-Time: lol Favorite Jazz Moment: Too young to remember the glorious Stockton winner and other 90s highlights so AKs Free Throw to win the series vs. Houston and Mehmet Okur's gamewinner to break our losing skid vs. the Spurs. Amount of Jazz Games Attended: Hundreds. Literally.
  21. For a scrub, I freakin' love this guy. I was hoping he'd get a chance somewhere so hopefully someone else signs him.
  22. Missing my buds htown and ABL and it's good to see some other familliar faces around here. Assuming I like it, I expect to turn myself into an active core member here. Obviously I like the Jazz and my favorite player is Deron Williams but I love me some Kevin Durant.
