if i was the yankees then i would spend all that money and buy players too, i dont blame them for that. but that doesnt make it right or make it fair to other teams in any way. and yes, if the phillies want to keep their core of players they will have to be a top 5 payroll team, but they aren't going to be able to do that. that is why guys like howard probably arent gonna be on the phillies for his whole career because the phils cant afford it with everyone else. the yankees on the other hand have been able to keep a guy like jeter his whole career because they can afford it. if the yankees didnt sign CC, burnett, and tex then the phillies would win the world series. even if the yankees didnt buy one of those 3 then they would not win. but instead they spend hundreds of millions of dollars to sign the best free agents. the phillies did their big spending this offseason and spent 30 million on 1 player. thats the difference, and that is why it is unfair

its true, we have never seen an offense as small as the eagles, but we also have never seen an offense with as much speed as the eagles. if andy reid can run this offense correctly then they will be so dangerous. how are you not sold on maclin? no one expected him to do much this year, and so far he has FAR surpassed my expectations

maybe you mean "he's almost as overrated as Eli Manning and Tony Romo". and rodgers isnt overrated, he is just better the romo

i agree with palmer. i dont know if he is the most underrated, but he absolutely is underrated. a few years ago he was one of the top QBs in the league, but then he had some injuries and the bengals sucked and everyone forgot about him

if this happened in philly then everyone would be going crazy about how terrible philadelphia fans are

definitely. we are gonna have a great young offense for years to come. there are some injuries and question marks on the o-line (andrews), but once that gets sorted out this offense could be great. not to mention the defense is still pretty young with guys like cole, bunkley, patterson, bradley, witherspoon, mikell and a few others
