  1. absolutely not. the giants D held the best offense ever to 14 points. they won the game and they deserved the MVP. eli did the minimum that he had to and nothing more
  2. and dont forget that he has had an amazing supporting cast. he has had guys like TO, witten, barber and a bunch of other very good weapons
  3. tony romo = overrated i totally agree with all of these except i dont think braylon is overrated. no one ever plays well on the browns. ill give him more time on the jets, and if he still doesnt do well and drops passes then ill consider him overrated and eli manning is also overrated
  4. hopefully the angels can pretend to be the red sox of a few years ago
  5. and you are excatly the same. you cant tell me that you arent happy when a philly team loses
  6. i think 3 times stresses how true it is. except its not just ecn, all the people that are just like him too
  7. why you rather lose in the nlds? everyone expected the cards to win, but the dodgers came out and swept them.
  8. . exactly, you never hear anything about anyone on the rams. but he had 100 tackles 1 year in carolina and then in his first year on st louis he had 116 tackles, and in his second year, 07-08 he had 110 tackles and 7 sacks. last year he didnt do as well, but the rams sucked. i havent seen him play much, but it seems like he is a very solid linebacker. and at 29 years old, he could be a great pickup
  9. i didnt feel like watching the video either. but raw rice will absorb all of the moisture. i know a few people who have dropped cell phones in the pool or got it wet and the rice worked just about every time
  10. i really dont know who i want to win this series. i would love to see the yankees not get to the world series, but there would also be absolutely nothing better then the phils beating the yankees in the world series. but it would also really really suck to lose to the yankees
  11. but i cant not believe that tonights game actually happened. the whole team is just so calm and confident throughout, it didnt seem like they they were losing. it was just another game to win. second time with 2 outs and coming back to win. its just absolutely insane hamels needs a good start to get some confidence
  12. http://steynian.files.wordpress.com/2009/07/captainobvious.jpg stealing real deals post from some other thread and im not gonna assume anything because baseball is crazy and absolutely anything can happen, but its pretty hard to say you have a chance when the next 3 games are against 2 cy young winners and a world series MVP
  13. the rice works every time. i dont know if it will work with an ipod though, cause for a cell phone you have to take the battery out, which you cant do for the ipod. its worth a shot though
  14. i need to find something online. the eagles arent on tv here, so i have been searching the internet only to eventually find a terrible quality stream. anyone know somewhere online to watch games? preferably free
  15. http://i.a.cnn.net/si/2006/writers/gene_menez/09/10/week2/Ray_Rice.jpg RUTGERS!! hes a beast
  16. oh its definitely not gonna be easy. but the phils are in a great situation now. even if they lose tomorrow, they still come home for 3 games. for the dodgers game 2 is a must win, because they really cant be down 0-2 and going to philly
  17. i agree. guys back then barely even worked out. it was all just natural skill. today the workouts are so intense, so the players are much bigger, so it is hard to compare and gretzky would dominate today, no one will ever come close to his records ever
  18. i love being the lower seed team, i think it helps. all phillies need to do it win one of the first 2 games, then they have the series at 1-1 coming home for 3 games. the only downside is game 7 being away. even worst case scenario if the lose games 1 and 2 in LA, they still come home for 3 games where they should be able to make a comeback in the series if cole hamels can pitch even close to the cole hamels of the 2008 postseason, then i really cant see this being a tough series. we just need the pitchers to get a decent, long outing
  19. watch lacrosse then. you pretty much described it. and outdoor when the ncaa season starts, not the indoor box [expletive]
