who cares if ortiz is bad right now or if they have a few injuries. that happens to every single team. but francona has had consistently good teams over the past few years. any manager who has the teams that he has had will seem like a great manager

but for GM, ruben amaro jr has a shot. he hasnt been a GM long enough for me to say that he is the best in the league, but i love his aggressive style and how he handled the trade deadline trades. he got what he wanted and gave up only what he wanted to. plus it doesnt hurt to be an assistant behind pat gillick for a couple years. gillick was an amazing GM

the best manager cant be from the AL. NL managers have to do so much more with pinch hitting for pitchers and all the decisions along with it. the only way i would give it to an AL manager is if he had success in the NL also

we arent talking about just in a shootout. and offensive linemen are so much more important in the running game then the passing game. a great o-line can make a bad RB look good. some random backup RB with an amazing o-line would do better then peterson with a [expletive]ty line. we saw that with shaun alexander a few years back. he wasnt that good, but that o-line was great and made him look like the best RB in the league. you cant say that a WR is more important then an OL and you cant say that an OL is more important then a WR. its comparing apples to oranges. both positions are incredibly important and they can succeed without the other position doing well

bolt and phelps are great, but it has to be tiger. he choked yesterday, but its gonna take way more then that to convince me that he isnt the most dominant person in sports

i also agree. mccoy is going to have a slightly bigger role then buckhalter had last year. i dont know about bigtime, but he will absolutely have an impact and take a big load off of westbrook and i dont think maclin is gonna do much this year either. there is no doubt that he has a ton of potential and skill, but i think his impact will be a couple years down the road. this is jacksons year and he is gonna have a great one

^i agree vick is gone after this season. the eagles are cheap, they are not gonna pay a backup QB or whatever he is 5 million dollars. they are either gonna trade him or just let him go after this year. that being the case he is not going to be the successor to mcnabb since mcnabb is gonna be here a few years the better question is, if mcnabb gets hurt, who fills in, kolb or vick?

im not totally sure about that. if there was a heaven that doesnt mean that the spirits would have any effect on anything. it would just be spirits which you wouldnt be able to find. tough to argue though but if there was a god then there would have to be some kind of proof or something like that. there is not 1 single actual piece of evidence proving there is a god. and there are many pieces of evidence against the existence of god, evolution being a major one.

wow nice. it would have been pretty cool to stay there for a second day, but we did just about every ride so everything would have been repeats.
