I don't see Montreal trading any goalie to the Flyers. It is pretty much putting a number one preseason ranking on Philly without making any other major moves.

Exactly. That's why you upgrade even to an Osgood or Chris Mason and you are set. You may lose some prospects but maybe then you use one of the bigger trading chips to snag another defensemen to lower Prongers minutes in the season. Hard on the body going 100 plus games year in and year out.

Exactly what I'm saying. I personally think the Flyers should just grab an Osgood type goalie rather than spend huge money on say a Marty Turco. Chris Mason would be a solid pickup too.

Put Leighton and Boucher in Montreal and we are not passed the first round let alone win one game maybe but you put Halak with Pronger and Timmo in front of him and he glides his way to the finals. But all ifs especailly since I believe Montreal wanted Giroux plus more.

Did you not watch any of the first and second round? Halak is a monster and I can say that they'd have a better chance against the Blackhawks if you minus Giroux and add Halak but that's just IMO.
