  1. Losing a member of my wolf pack today as Jammin flies off to Germany in three hours for the next two years.
  2. It's actually pretty sad that these speeches most likely represent a huge influence on who people will be voting for. The election system showcases everything that is flawed with American politics.
  3. Landeskog youngest captain in the history of the NHL.
  4. I use classic controls and it never worked for me in '12. Ballsack.
  5. I really don't think the major draw to the arena will be the daytime design. It is an entertainment centre that will be used primarily at nighttime and so far the design using the light to peak through the steel designs look sick.
  6. Read an interesting stat on Netsdaily. Typical Net fan post stating 'Deron had no talent' but the truth is he had absolute garbage. I think Legacy's list is extremely accurate but any of those players could finish the season in the number one ranking.
  7. I'm confused on what you are trying to prove. NHL 12 broke records for sales last year and almost everyone I know who owns a system has purchased NHL 13. Your mixing up popularity of a sport and including sales. If you were to offer the regular American the option of any of the major sports games this year, NHL would be at the bottom of the list. Heck even FIFA wouldn't be a top choice for most. The only people in my area who play FIFA are Europeans. As far as the rest, it's just an assumption. Go download NHL 13 then come in here and state some points from your view rather than EA forums and sales totals.
  8. Confusing it with 2012. Press L3 and you'll see a burst. They are calling it 'hustle".
  9. Had very low expectations downloading the demo but was pleasantly surprised. Skating has improved a ton and the physics are actually almost NHL level. I tried doing a trick around the defender using Lucic and he actually pushed over the defender once he lost the puck. A lot of shielding of the puck and small picks included. Graphics have improved and so have the goalie motions. Much smoother gameplay overall which makes it impressive. They added back a speed burst button which is huge too. Negatives are the goalie masks are still complete ass. Fighting is still a KO but overall I'm super impressed. Even the crowd was smaller at some games which if added, would be a nice boost to Be A GM. I suggest giving it a download.
  10. Download the Just Cause 2 demo and see if you like that.
  11. One dude sounded like he could be Chris Tucker's brother.
  12. Most of the stuff you listed was either started by NHL or Madden though.
  13. You can replace FIFA and replace it with NHL and nobody would know the difference in this post.
  14. Demar pretty much summed it up for me. The rest of your post is your opinion. Obviously FIFA has improved in those years but comparing the improvement of an NHL game in that amount of time is amazing. They seem to have stalled since '11 but just where they have got to is amazing in terms of flow especially on ice. It may be easier to make ice than grass but its ten times harder to make movement and correct effects with it in such a small playing field.
  15. Hockey is on skates but also features contact like Madden. Soccer has had great graphics for years due to the fact it is so simple. I remember rocking FIFA 2001 and hadn't played a game until FIFA 11 and was shocked at how similar it was. Yes it was upgraded but compared to the advancements in NHL (and lack of since 11) it hasn't jumped that high. Would have bought FIFA 12 based just on the fact you can play in the World Cup and tournaments but found out Canada is not featured. They said hopefully by 2013 it will be in it.
  16. NHL 11 was leaps and bounds better then FIFA 11. Wasn't impressed with NHL 12 but also never played FIFA 12. In terms of content, both games feature one of the largest databases for players out of all the sports franchises but I feel it is ten times harder to make a realistic NHL game compared to soccer. I doubt I'll be spending my money on NHL 13 or FIFA 13 but will definitely invest in renting the soccer game to play as the Montreal Impact even though the arena won't be in it.
  17. Thing is though I'd take the 24-year-old Lopez at 12.6 mil than the 27-year-old Afflalo at 6.7 mil for another five years especially if rebuilding. Big men are rare (Howard one of the rarest) compared to shooting guards and the deal included MarShon Brooks, the 23-year-old who put up nearly similar numbers to Afflalo in his first year in the league. At the time of the trade I understand the Nets offer was tricky but even turning down Andrew Bynum seems like not the greatest idea. They could have had the cap relief, plus those players, first round draft choices including a top five overall draft pick for that in the hopes of signing (look at the Magic history or luring in stars) talent and rebuilding for the future.
  18. The reason why Lopez was signed at that time was because teams were prepared to offer the max. People always look at the negatives so closely with his game that they forget he could easily turn into a top five center. Humphries is also a pretty decent basketball player too and is only paid so high for shorter years which is what caused problems in making a trade. The thing is Hump was expiring this year and we had one of the worst records at the deadline and Orlando turned every offer down. If the report about Orlando being pissed because of tampering is true, Orlando missed out huge missing out on Lopez, Brooks and Damian Lillard, plus more picks.
  19. Trading for a 24-year-old center who had amazing chemistry with Ryan Anderson and absolutely loves Orlando would set the Magic back for years but giving up their once-in-a-decade franchise player for draft picks and the hope of luring free agents isn't? Reports are Magic weren't going to trade with the Nets anyways due to the fact they thought the Nets were tampering so instead hand the player who disrespected their franchise to an instant championship squad.
  20. Stop what? He has an excellent point.
  21. I don't even think the CPU Orlando general manager on NBA 2k12 would accept this trade.
