  1. Simple Question 1. My Name is Chris Bosh, you are Bryan Colangelo. Convince me to stay.
  2. If only Hedo and Jack were playing well I'd be meh, but since Banks has been good (I missed the game last night so I dunno), he should take more time than normal, we need him fully healthy.
  3. I love our division, the Knicks are third. Our division goes 1 - Celtics 2 - Raptors 3 - Knicks 4 - 76ers 5 - Nets

  5. A lot of good reading guys, and I'll post more later, but, I still cannot believe we are 6th. I completely understand the East sucks below us, but still, we haven't touched our peak and we are in the playoffs.
  6. I like the win. I like the beer. December 23rd is a good night.
  7. Before I say make a move or not, what are the results on the Roy MRI, cause I know he got hurt last night too
  8. Man , I always have a good season but my teams always fall short in the playoffs. Thanks AP
  9. I like Maynor so I'd think this is a good trade for them.
  10. Ya PFT has said nothing and they usually get stuff pretty quickly
  11. I Do, is it worth the money? Daddy pays, and we keep getting it, plus we get the magazine, and I read it all, so I like it.
  12. Plus , with everyone dreaming of landing LeBron in 2010, and Kobe being the current champion, the paring can make even more sense
  13. I'd say it's fair because you can compare the 2009 and probably 2010 ROY and see differences. Both were coached in college by the same person, at the same university and both were 1 and done picks. I understand the position differences but as I stated, Evans and Rose were both PG's in college and this is definitely a far comparison to make.
  14. Gooner said a lot of what I wanted to say. I read RealGM and a lot of what people say there, and it seems to be true too that as bad as Jose Calderon's defense is, Rose is just as bad, if not worse and with his athleticism, that should not be the case. He needs to develop that jump shot to become a legitimate scorer in the NBA. Evan does have a higher TOPG, and has a brutally low 3P%, but Evans seems to be a combo guard who can stay at the 1 and stick there if need be. In college when Slimy moved him to the 1 he excelled and in the pros Evans is only 0.6 APG behind Rose, has a higher PER and higher SPG. I'll take Evans.
  15. From Doug Smith's Blog regarded Marcus Banks http://thestar.blogs.com/raptors/2009/12/of-developing-assets-and-dangerous-days.html Chishom's Point of View http://www.tsn.ca/blogs/tim_chisholm/?id=303208 Marcus Banks in no where near the offensive threat Jose is but he is a much better defender and takes pride in his defense, just ask CP3. That being said, what do you think the Raptors should do? Explore trading Jose, nothing, or trade Jack. Obviously now is tough to say because Jose is still out, however, consider all three are healthy. This is for fun, but Banks seems to be getting more acclimated to the team, also having Jose out gives Hedo more time with the ball, something not is not a bad thing.
  16. I agree completely that DeMar needs to have an increased amount of minutes now with Jose out. Thus should increase Hedo's numbers as well and just let Hedo handle the ball and either DeMar or Sonny guard the 1 spot. However, the fact that Jay has realized that Sonny is much more productive than Wright is a step in the right direction. I wish DeMar could get more minutes, but let's remember Sonny is young as well and could develop into a very nice player down the road. The key for both is the ability to attack the basket and these two, unlike Jamario Moon, seem to want to keep attacking the net because they understand it is easy points. When I see Amir, Sonny and DeRozan on the court at the same time I get excited, because I know maybe right now the offensive talent isn't there, but the effort that needs to be given night and night out is. I remember when I went to the game against Atlanta and the only 3 people that impressed me were those 3, granted mostly Sonny and Amir because DeMar didn't play a lot. The thing with the regular NBA fan is they will see his numbers, which aren't bad, but they don't understand that he is usually 4th or 5th option, all the time. He is excellent, yes I think excellent is the proper word, at getting to the line and his percentage is pretty good, though I did expect it to be lower, so that is nice surprise. DeMar has come into an awkward situation to say the least; the star player is in the last year of a contract and the team needs to win, they just paid a lot of money to the 5 and 3 spots and have a lot of money at the 1 spot between two guys. Also, the kid has to guard the other teams best wing player most of the time and if he gets beat, it's usually a basket because of the D behind him. In short the kid has been better than expected and I'm happy he has started all the games showing Jay does understand somewhat how to develop him, but kind of loses that when he benches him for stretches. He hasn't been hurt yet (knock on wood) so that's a positive. Obviously you want a big splash from a lottery rookie, but not everyone can be LeBron and DeMar has been most than expected early in his career.
  17. I'm with the three above me. Useless thread is useless.

  19. I know I shouldn't but I've stopped caring. This team is depressing, and I just saw my football team to KC, Oakland, and Cleveland and this still hurts me more.
