The Braves acquired Derrek Lee today, a trade which I do not understand. They already have a right-handed first baseman who is going to give them Derrek Lee-like production, named Troy Glaus. Lee brings slightly better defense I suppose, but this seems like another lateral move (like the trade for Ankiel and Farnsworth).

The band is almost completely back together and they are on their typical August roll. Fun times. Un[expletive]ingreal.....ESPN has officially jumped the shark. Well never mind, they did that a long time ago. But they are outdoing themselves with this one.

Cool....ESPN decided to cancel their only show that I actually enjoy (Rome is Burning) in favor of some extra Favre programming.

I do not usually put much stock into "power rankings", but I have several issues with this one.
