  1. Steve Nash has an opponent PER of 12.2 this year. PER is a pretty sketchy stat but if Nash was constantly getting lit up like so many people claim that number would be way higher. Pietrus' defense isn't that great, as much as I've seen it's average at best. I can't get past his knucklehead chucking though.
  2. I agree with you that he's garbage, and I do think he's spoon fed. But on most attempts the feeding is an absolute one hundred percent failure. He gets an amazing low post pass, usually on a miss match, tries to fade or take a jumper, and on the rare occasion a hook. Either way, it is all bricks. Big bricks, he never hits them, usually on rare occasions he'll hit 'em. He's one of the few guys? We've got good defenders this year by the way. Josh can defend, Nash's defense has been better this season, Dudley is one of the best guards in the league at defense, Gortat is good on defense, Carter is alright.. the only weak links are Pietrus and Brooks.
  3. He's still a good defender, but it's mainly because of his hugeness. He's seven feet tall, and we're really sick of his stupidity on defense too. You do a hook shot on Robin it usually goes in, but I remember I was in awe last year in the playoffs. Now he's regressed entirely.
  4. Come to Phoenix, Yao.. We have the technology.
  5. That's the thing, I do agree that he's a good defender but I don't think he'll ever develop the offensive skills of his brother. I only see it going two ways. One: We ship him out in our rebuilding package next season, if he hasn't proved worth to our team, and he's forgive lost in whatever team rotation he's in, is a bench player there, and becomes a journey man in the league. Two: Twin towers effect.
  6. Nothing, . Just a good luck girl. It's gone.
  7. This is Robin's stats this season, which is absolutely ridiculous. He's averaging seven point a game, last night against Golden State he put up one point a four rebounds in like fifteen minutes. That's not that great considering he was our draft pick in 2008, and has been irrelevant all last year. While Brook has been doing okay, Robin is stinking it up this year, and I don't know why. He's not injured, he gets minutes, they give him the ball in the low block...urgh. He looks so robotic on the floor too. So I'm asking you guys, is he worth keeping with Gortat in the picture? Or is he a lost cause?
  8. Suns keys. Defend the inside. As much as Robin Lopez is on my hated list, run the twin towers concept with Gortat and Lopez. Clog up the middle, don't allow inside shots by anyone, including Kobe, and make them all take bad shots this game. Especially Kobe Bryant, because he loves to chuck, and as ong as we man him up well he'll put up shots Ron Harper would frown upon. Another key is jump shooting, we won't get inside with two giants in the paint, so put him so good three point shooters. Give Channing minutes. Laker keys. Kobe needs to show up for you guys, and I feel that you'll need to put Blake in early the gang to cover Steve Nash, Nash isn't really quick, but he can turn and zip around the court ery easily anytime he'd like. I'm not really sure if Derek has that level of change of direction speed as Nash does. Another one would guard Channing on the perimeter, because there isn't that many players who shoot the deep three like Channing, and that could be a problem considering the fact Gasol isn't use to defending from beyond the arc. <3 [noobs]

  10. I'm serious here, but Blake Griffin is one piece of shit. Absolute prick. Dirty plays, yelling that damn refs on every single bad call, then when the asshole gets the bad call he whines, and nearly takes out Hakim Warrick. The jam was completely ridiculous, but it was definitely an offensive foul, without my homer glasses on. Good win by Phoenix, Nash nearly had a triple double. That Pelvic injury has been pretty neutral the past few games. He'll be 100% soon, but great game by the entire team none the less. [expletive] Robin Lopez.
  11. I'm torn on this. I'd be forever angry at Dave and his friends who think a lockout should happen. I'd be devastated to see Kidd lose an entire season, turning forty? And Garnett retiring would end an era for sure, and I'm not so sure Tim Duncan would stay either. So I'm somewhat worried about this, but I hope neither retire and I hope a lockout doesn't happen.
  12. To be fair it was in Europe for Ibaka. That's no disrespect. I think he'll do well.
  13. Move the Clippers to Kansas or San Diego. San Diego Clippers. Kansas City Clippers
  14. I'm just so happy that freaking idiot midget Nate isn't in. He was sucking the life and core out of that contest and committed grand larceny on multiple occasions just because he's tiny. As it goes for these guys.. McGee is a beast at dunking and I mean beast. He's huge and reckless. He's awesome, he's going to rip the building down for all I know. He'll do pretty well and will go into the contest severely underrated. One thing that will be a disadvantage is his stupidity. I'm not saying he's an idiot off the court or anything, but on the court he does some pretty dumb crap. Then.. you've got Blake. He scares me. He's an absolute freak of nature man, dinosaur arms and everything! He glides in the air like a hawk but still manages to throw it down hard! He's got no regard for human life at all and I think that's a good thing. I think he'll try some crazy [expletive], but the difference between him and McGee is that Blake will actually make the dunk. I don't care about Jennings or Ibaka as they won't go far.
  15. Barkley is actually a knowledgeable guy but on TNT they make him a tit head.
  16. I'd offer THAT first and see if they're negotiating.
  17. I'm going with when Mike Bibby got elbowed directly in the mug with Kobe's elbow and they didn't call jack [expletive].
  18. So basically I'm just asking the very simple question on these two great players. Is George Gervin better then Pippen? Or is Pippen better then Gervin? I personally say that Gervin is the better all around player. Scottie Pippen was extremely athletic and played D and could shoot, but I personally feel the 90's where when dunking was very much so common. But back then players may not have jumped out of the building like some players now but they were much better shooters and fundamentally sound. The game is not about how flashy a player is but how the play the whole game-offense, defense, rebounding, dribbling. Gervin could do all of the that. What do you think?
  19. The Phoenix Suns had one of the fattest players ever in Oliver Miller, at 6'9 and 315. Now we have Siler who's 6'10 305.
  20. Anyway, I'd say trading Nash would probably benefit our team in the long run. So.. what if we keep Nash? We're going to be the next Trail Blazers with just Nash, barely scrapping the damn playoffs with the 7th or 8th seed, or not even making it at all. I'm really interested in this years draft as there's some young studs out there that would really benefit our team in the long run and I'm a huge supporter of the Phoenix Suns blow up and tank rebuild thing. Robin Lopez has been painfully awful this year and I sincerely thought after competing in last years playoffs with his major play he'd end up being someone very special on our team but lady luck frowned upon us and now he's just crap. Dragic really hasn't improved much at all, ironically and sadly Hedo has been great for Orlando. I'd happily trade Steve Nash for a decent power forward and a pick.
